Ristorante Eva — Restaurant in Pastrengo

Let’s start with the food was definitely not that bad. But the service was less then 1 star. We asked for a table for 2 and the men told us we could take place on a dirty table (No problem at all of course if it gets cleaned…) after 20 min I started waving at the guy that we would like to place our order. But al do he did see me he apparently didn’t had any time to come over… after waving three more times he finally had time to take the order . Ok we get it it’s busy no problem so far. But the strange thing is no one still didn’t take the afford to clean the table…. Ok already a couple bad vibes but ok. After waiting and waiting we didn’t get our drinks (that’s seemed strange because other people that order after us did get there drinks and even food before us?) then after waiting a bit more I think the owner of the restaurant came in to bring the food but looked surprised when she noticed we didn’t had any drinks. Then she tried to get our drinks but forgot half of the order. We decided to let it for What it was and go. But even paying the bill was not that easy (looks like they where way over there head!) then on top of that they charge us € for service cost…. I’m more then happy to pay coperto but...

Ristorante ad una decina di km da Gardaland ma poco frequentato dai turisti. Cucina tipica della zona con materia prima davvero ottima. Abbiamo cenato in due con vitello tonnato, tagliatelle al ragù d'anatra (una vera delizia per il palato), carrello di arrosti e bolliti misti accompagnato con salse della casa (è il loro punto di forza, una tradizione che si tramanda da 50 anni, assolutamente da non perdere!) e coppa di fragole. Il tutto accompagnato da una bottiglia di rosé della casa, buonissimo. Prezzi assolutamente super competitivi e personale gentilissimo e preparato, che ti fa sentire davvero come "a casa". Non era la prima volta dato che ci era già stata con una cena aziendale e mi aveva ben impressionato. Ora con un gruppetto di amici sono tornata e la serata è stata molto piacevole. L'accoglienza gentile e cordiale ci ha messo subito a nostro agio e le loro pietanze ci hanno colpito in positivo. I primi sono vari e veramente casalinghi. Porzioni giuste. Il clou della serata era l'atteso carrello dei bolliti che non si è smentito: carni tenere e ben cotte, con salse miste, contorni di verdure pure al carrello con scelta. Onorevole vino Bardolino della casa e buoni dessert hanno accompagnato il tutto. Buon rapporto...
