Osteria Del Borgo — Restaurant in Penna in Teverina

Lovely People & wonderful group dinners & Best Gnocchi

During our stay in Umbria we went to Osteria Del Borgo not only once, but twice. The atmosphere is very familiar, the staff is friendly and the food is just perfect! They have tasty local cuisine, delicious pizza and lots of other delights. In addiction, the prices are very fair. We went there with a group of 15 people and had lovely evenings!

Personally, I recommend the Gnocchi del Borgo, which are amongst the best Gnocchi I have ever eaten! The rest of our group also really enjoyed the different meat dishes and the Pizze.

Altogether a great place wich would love to go to again and will recommend...

Piacevolissima esperienza, ve lo raccomando caldamente già in apertura di commento. L'interno del locale, semplice ma molto curato, pulito e con tanta attenzione ai dettagli, emana un'atmosfera calda, invitante già dall'immediato ingresso. Un posto che favorisce il bisogno di rilassamento staccando la spina dall'esterno e di essere prontamente coccolati, sia con l'estrema e sottolineo squisita gentilezza del personale tutto, che dalla notevole professionalità con cui verrete trattati. Il menù è vario ed originale; la qualità degli ingredienti si sente, è ottima, così come la cura che viene usata nel preparare e comporre i piatti che vi vengono serviti. La quantità è abbondante, non eccessivamente, questa ritengo che sia la misura perfetta per restare pienamente soddisfatti. Siamo stati la prima coppia che ha avuto l'onore di inaugurare un romantico angolo intimo davvero spettacolare e di grande effetto, che vedrete dalle foto; qualora aveste la particolare esigenza di trascorrere dei momenti un po'più speciali, vi consiglio di prenotare il vostro tavolo all'interno di queste simpatiche sfere che si trovano all'esterno (adatte anche in inverno, poichè gradevolmente riscaldate). Il prezzo? Assolutamente...

Ich war Begleiter von Max Müller, welcher ebenfalls eine (nicht ganz positive) Bewertung hinterlassen hat. Was die Personenzahl betrifft, die Änderung von 5 auf 9 Personen erfolgte bereits Stunden vor dem Restaurantbesuch. Laut der Inhaberin waren es dann ja wieder 2 weniger, was nicht stimmt da lediglich 1 Person (Ich) gefehlt hat und Ich selber dann nachgekommen bin. Da ich aus gesundheitlichen Gründen keinen Hunger hatte, habe ich eben nur etwas getrunken. Die Gänge waren völlig vermischt, Vorspeisen wurden mit Hauptspeisen vermischt, während widerum diverse Hauptspeisen schon gefühlt als Nachspeisen serviert wurden (1 Stunde Wartezeit auf Pizza). Dass wir NICHT zahlen wollten ist ebenfalls nicht korrekt, wir haben uns bemüht so gut es geht das Essen runterzubekommen, haben das aber leider nicht geschafft. Es waren nicht alle Speisen schlecht, die Pizza und die Gnocchetti waren wirklich sehr gut! Das Gesamtpaket hat halt leider nicht gestimmt, ich musste die Bedienung 4 Mal auf mich aufmerksam machen und letztendlich an der Bar mein Bier bestellen. Vielleicht geben wir dem Lokal ja nächstes mal noch eine Chance und hinterlassen dann bei guter Erfahrung sehr gerne eine positive...
