Osteria du Barba Pe. Case Cassini — Restaurant in Perinaldo

Fantastic place. Shared dining (!!) (lunch in our case), which always has our preference because food is about love, sharing and caring. And here the food is highly cared for. We started at 13.00hrs and left at 18.30hrs because after lunch some locals rocked up and we all talked and drank. Big kudos to the chefs and waiting staff for their excellent service and care. The food is outstandingand of high quality. And I know food as I married a chef 😀. It’s an exclusive place. We thought price vs quality was absolutely fair. Worth driving up from the valley. Make sure you drive via Seborga to not take “the mule track” as one reviewer here described. There are two ways to get here, Seborga gives you a normal road. Highly recommended! Grazie...

We spent a wonderful afternoon outside on the terrace at the Osteria. We found this little gem by coincidence, after our visit to Seborga. The people, the building, the Italian atmosphere, all was just great on this visit. Over a few hours we were served many different courses, the starter alone had of six them, a.o. variation of fresh figs (with parma ham, chili pepper etc.), grilled zucchini with goat cheese and vegetable focaccia. We have found this small paradise by accident. You can’t imagine « the pay off » you get for driving these very small roads up the Ligurie mountains! There’s no menu or anything in writing over the incredible creative menu degustation (tasting menu) which is served high up in the mountains with an amazing view!
