We went out with the family for a lovely dinner at Connubio during our holiday. The garden with the lights and subtle background music was magical! The overall service was perfect and the people were very nice. The food we had was also great, with interesting choices on the menu, not just the standard italian classics. Both the gnocchetti con pistacchio and the umbricelli e baccala were outstanding! Tonno tataky was also one of our favorites. The only thing that dissapointed us a little bit was the tiramisu, which lacked enough coffee flavour and savoiardi, and the mascarpone cream was too thick in our opinion. However, the cheesecake...

The place is amazingly located, close to the highway. Furthermore the service is great and they’re very kind and considerate for all your needs. I drank a virgin mojito without mint. At first I was sceptical, but it turned out to be a very tasteful drink. Allergies are written very clearly on the menu and staff are very careful to not cross mix. We stopped here by chance as we were looking for somewhere close to the airport and easily accessible from the motorway. What a gem! Lovely spacious environment, easy parking, delightful staff and - of course - excellent food. Couldn’t recommend more highly and would particularly point it out to travellers heading to the airport which is only about 10mins away - a very easy place to stop for a last meal before returning to (in our case) the grey skies of England.
