Taverna dell'Orso — Restaurant in Perugia

Siamo stati ieri sera in 11 persone in questo locale ed un'esperienza gradevole si è rovinata alla cassa senza alcun motivo. Abbiamo speso 42€ a testa: in 9 abbiamo pagato con la carta, mentre uno in contanti precisi. L'ultimo nostro amico aveva 50€ e il proprietario (? Il calvo alla cassa) ha iniziato a fare delle battutine da presa in giro ("Glieli devo dare precisi sennò fa una brutta recensione" "Vuoi anche che stampo le 11 ricevute di pagamento? Sennò chiami la finanza?"), poiché non aveva il resto da dargli; tutto questo senza che sia noi sia il nostro amico avessimo detto alcunché. A continuazione dello scherno gratuito ha tirato fuori un contenitore ed ha iniziato a dargli l'ultimo euro di resto con tutte monetine da 10,5,2 e 1 centesimo. Mi sembra abbastanza strano che alle 11:00, con ancora molta gente all'interno, un locale di questo genere non abbia più il resto alla cassa. Può comunque succedere una cosa del genere, ma sarebbe bastato dire al mio amico: "Guarda abbiamo finito le monete da 2 e 1€, mi scuso ma ho solo monetine da darti..." senza umiliare in maniera gratuita una persona che non aveva fatto nulla per meritarselo; oppure, ancora meglio, visto anche che 42€ per 11 è una buona cifra, poteva benissimo dare un resto con una banconota da 10€, abbonando i miseri 2€. Il proprietario avrebbe fatto una bella figura ed avrebbe anche avuto 11 clienti che sarebbero tornati nel suo locale. Invece, abbiamo dovuto assistere ad una misera scena e sono stato obbligato a fare tale recensione. Prima ancora del mangiar bene, il cliente desidera rispetto.

A true hidden gem, except for locals. It's approximately 8 mins from the highway and when you arrive it's not immediately clear it's a restaurant. Looks more like a private house with many olive trees ;-) When you look closer, you'll find a beautiful terrace but you can also enjoy the inside restaurant for when it's too hot outside. They have great wines, very friendly service and tasty food for reasonable prices. Don't go if you're in a rush, you should take your time to enjoy the place. Amazing place which has conquered our hearts! We took the couple menu for 45€ with antipasto (so delicious...hands down), first and second courses plus dessert and basically we weren't able to reach the car how full and happy we were!
