Always a no brain! I have been eating here at least once per year since I was a kid and it has never disappointed me. First of all the venue is incredible, a big farmhouse from the start of the century, which from may till September let you enjoy the outdoor backyards. The food then is just the type you'd expect from a Trattoria: maccheroni pasta with ragout, gnocchi with tomato sauce, roasted fillet, home made grilled veggies. Top of the notch, try the entry, with cold cuts and Cotechino. The wine list Is top of the notch too. Enjoy it whenever you have time, for lunch on Sunday or a business dinner on Wednesday, it is always a...

A great "boiled meat" a few steps from Milan. We tried this restaurant in Peschiera Borromeo and we chose the "bollito", a specialty from northern Italy that immediately made us decide without looking at anything else on the menu. The mise en place is simple but tablecloths and napkins are made of fabric. Good choice of glasses. The staff is ready and punctual. We have chosen a wine from Trentino Alto Adige, a Lagrein that I must admit, it is perfect for the dish chosen. "Boiled meat" is divine, accompanied by green sauce and fruit mustard. a really good lunch. A culinary experience...

Conosco il posto in quanto, nel corso del tempo, è stata la scelta privilegiata per consumare del cibo di qualità in un contesto rustico, genuino. Ma ultimamente, con dispiacere, ho notato un calo considerevole del posto in più contesti. L'offerta di cibo non è ampia, la cucina è completamente casareccia ed è percettibile, ma sfiziosa con abbinamenti ben indovinati. Il tutto è reso spiacevole da una quantità non adeguata al prezzo corrisposto; prezzi che nel corso del tempo sono andati sempre più aumentando, a discapito però della qualità, quantità e anche del servizio. L'ultima volta ho preso un primo, dei ravioli ripieni di anatra all'arancia...molto sfiziosi e gradevoli, ma di quantità piuttosto esigua. Decido di ripiegare su del coniglio arrosto, con patate, mai scelta più sbagliata: un piatto con 2 pezzi di coniglio, con attaccati si/no 40 grammi di carne, secca in alcuni punti...non ci si aspetta la quantità di carne di un pollo, però uno o 2 pezzi in più sarebbe stato l'ideale: 22 euro per 8 patate e delle ossa di coniglio. Il dolce, una sacher rivisitata...buona, le dimensioni erano poco più di un frollino da colazione: 8 euro.

Il servizio...ultimamente piuttosto sbrigativo, come quasi a farti mangiare per poi andartene. Durante la cena, mentre io avevo finito e l'altro commensale no, mi viene tolto il piatto chiedendoci se avremo gradito dolce e caffè, mentre ancora uno dei due stava finendo la cotoletta. Una cosa davvero fastidiosa.

I prezzi sono sempre stati un po' sopra alla media, ma erano ben ricompensati in soddisfazione. Negli ultimi mesi, il prezzo non giustifica nella maniera più assoluta l'offerta attuale, ho riscontrato maggior...
