I can’t begin to describe how wonderful our experience was at Nicuzza. My family traveled to Petralia Sottana, July 2023 to visit the place where of my grandfather’s birth in 1875. I went here for the first time tonight and wow… What a great restaurant! It had a rustic/chic look which I absolutely love. The food was different and interesting which I really appreciated. My favorite was the Alla Norma crepes. I never had them in all of my 13 visits to Sicily. Sooo good. We ended up in this place by chance because everything was closed in Petralia Soprana, one of the best accidents we've ever had really. The food is excellent, the hosts are kind and generous, and they cook themselves, the restaurant is cosy and elegant and there's even a vintage framed poster hanging on the wall from a 1975 Renato Guttuso exhibition.
