Ristorante A Due Passi Dal Mare — Restaurant in Petrosino

Can’t recommend this restaurant at all. First, we mistakenly ordered a raw plate of seafood, intending to have a grilled mixed seafood plate. It costs 25€ for 4 shrimp, 2 oysters and 2 little breads with something raw on it. We feel like they should have warned us that we’re ordering something raw here. Because we cannot eat raw, we asked them to at least grill the shrimp for us, which they did. Quite expensive shrimp that was. The pasta dishes we had were terrible. Dry, tasteless, and little. The rosso I drank was presented to me as very good Primitivo, with which I don’t have experience. But it must have been bad. It smelled like Sherry (sweet and disgusting), but tasted like an okay dry wine, but quite boring. Allora da dove iniziare non saprei. Premetto solo che è la prima volta che faccio una recensione negativa su un locale. Arriviamo alle 21:15, ordiniamo 6 antipasti e 6 primi. L’acqua ed il vino arrivano quasi subito. Gli antipasti discreti ma arrivano dopo un’ora. Passiamo il tempo discutendo con altri clienti che , anch’essi disgustati ed affamati, si sentono consolati dal mal comune mezzo gaudio. Passano le ore ed arriviamo alle 23.50 . Attendiamo l’arrivo dei primi ma capiamo subito dai commenti di altri commensali che l’attesa potrà potrarsi ancora per un bel po’. Decidiamo di provare un primo lamento con una cameriera che scortesemente infastidita dice di rivolgerci ad un suo collega. A quel punto sono passati altri 10 minuti senza che nessuno venga a curarsi della fastidiosa attesa nei nostri confronti e decidiamo di pagare il conto ed andare via di corsa. Una signora accanto suggeriva di andare via senza neanche avvertirli ma la buona educazione ci impedisce di farlo. Arrivando alla cassa ci supplicano di aspettare altri 5 minuti ancora senza però usare un cortese “ ci dispiace per l’inconveniente “ ma anzi infastiditi. Tentano una seconda volta ma ormai ci era passata pure la fame. Ci fanno il conto e, dulcis in fundo, ci fanno aspettare pure per il resto. Che dire! Non siete a due passi del mare ma due passi dal baratro. Vergogna! Possono capitare gli inconvenienti ma scusarsi e dispiacersi coi clienti sarebbe una prima regola da adottare. Do solo una stella ma meriterebbero a malapena...
