The food here was disappointing. The Primo course was bland.(Spaghetti Bolognese).

The Secondo (Beef stew with peas, and rabbit) Was also disappointing. The beef stew was not tasty. The tinned peas did not add to the dish. The rabbit was insipid. There was very little meat on the bone which admittedly is to be expected with rabbit, but the portion size was enough for one person but served to 2. The overall taste experience was pretty awful.

The tiramisu desert was nice.

The cost of this meal (€106) Was way too much for what was offered. We have had much better meals for less in this district.

1st serving, pasta, had an okay size, but still costed 9€ per serving. 2nd serving - the main dish, we chose the chicken- was very disappointing in size and costed 9€ per portion also. I thought we were served one portion for the main dish when we got it, but when we checked the bill they charged us 2 portions.

The food was tasteful - not the best we had during this trip - but all together, the whole experience was disappointing.... The host is friendly, but I do understand why we were the only guests tonight; it's just too expensive, way...

RISPOSTA ALLA VOSTRA REPLICA: Credo che il punto centrale sia capire il tipo di offerta: si tratta di una trattoria sulla strada con piatti di ottima qualità, ma porzioni inadeguate. I 13 primi (in 6 persone -e siamo usciti senza essere troppo sazi!) non corrispondono a 13 piatti, bensì a qualche vassoio a cui "é stata applicata" una tecnica al risparmio, arrotondando per difetto le porzioni effettive. Stessa cosa per il secondo. In un ristorante il prezzo sarebbe adeguato (o comunque un po' eccessivo per piatti semplici e poca varietà) ma il servizio é di un altro livello (impiattamenti singoli, menù cartacei al tavolo, scontrino battuto prima che il cliente debba richiederlo, ...). Ecco, giusto per estrema...
