Stazione Lago — Restaurant in Piana degli Albanesi

I give it a maximum of 2/5 sadly. As someone who likes to eat, it is deceiving to have this kind of service. Why you may ask? Well, starting off, we come in, we get greeted and seated, which was nice and we could choose to sit inside or outside. It is quite cozy there so that's why it has 1 star. Next, we get the menu, we look, they come to ask what we want and we tell them. we asked for a coke zero, but got a normal coke. But we let is pass because we aren't that difficult of clients. we asked for antipasti, which were nice, so thats why the food got a star too. That's where it begins. after that we had to wait for more than and hour before they came to take our plates in which we had eaten the antipasti. So for service -1 star. -then we ask the girl that came to take our plates, 'we have been waiting for an hour and half for our pizza's, do you know what the state of it is, or maybe if it is nearly ready?' on which she answered: 'i don't work in the kitchen, i dont know.' She didn't even try to find out where our pizza's where or even answer politely and say, 'i'm sorry'. -We thought okay... We will wait. Just to be clear, we came in at 21:00 and got served our pizza at 23:00. -The pizza's were fine. But after 2 hours you quit being hungry. And especially you're not in the mood anymore of going to a restaurant and having a good time. we ate, and then asked for the bill. Which was given to us by the same girl and kind of thrown on the table. We asked 3 time in total to pay and only after the third time she told us to go in the front to pay because we paid by card. we wanted to take 2 pizza's home because sometimes it's a lot, and you want to eat it the next day. So we ask the girl 'Could we have 2 boxes to take these 2 pizza?', on which she answers, 'yes sure.', she gives me one box, and lets me in charge of putting the pizza in the box myself and the same with the second one. -After that we go to pay in the front as we were told and another person working there asked us, 'was everything okay?' on which we answered 'not really, it was a pitty that we had to wait for one hour and a half.' and he didn't say anything back, not even an 'I'm sorry, or excuse us for our delay' or whatever kind of apologie. positive: one of the guy's serving did speak English. And he was very polite at the end too. last but not least, there could've been music in the background to make it a better experience. This all to tell you, that there weren't a lot of people to...

Far too long waiting time to get the pizzas The French fries with the anti pasti were soft. Some pizzas were burned black on the underside. The mushroom sauce at the base of my pizza had practically no taste. Service and organisation is at beginner level and can only improve.

We were well received, the order was taken quickly and the cocktails and antipasti were quickly served. The setting is modern surrounded by nature and better than in traditional pizzerias. 90 minutes of waiting after the anti pasti, without anyone caring about us, we finally received our pizzas. It was 11 p.m.

While waiting we asked a waitress if she knew where our order was and she coldly replied that she was not working in the kitchen before leaving. We obviously did not take dessert and asked for the bill. This was quickly dropped (thrown) on the table by the waitress who immediately left. Luckily a polite and friendly young waiter was there to elevate the level of service.

Given the setting we were pleasantly surprised and everything was there to spend a good evening. Unfortunately we had time enough to become disillusioned, the pizzas are not better although more expensive. The management must be adapted, the restaurant deserves its chance but makes...

Mi sono recata presso questa location domenica a pranzo insieme a degli amici che, come me, sono rimasti piuttosto delusi da parecchi fattori. La struttura è molto bella e la posizione sicuramente regala una bella visuale sul lago, soprattutto se si decide di consumare il pasto all’esterno. Le indicazioni per raggiungere il posto sono praticamente ovunque e questo facilita l’arrivo al locale. Purtroppo però, aldilà di questi aspetti positivi, mi riesce molto difficile trovarne degli altri. Abbiamo scelto di consumare il menù da 38€. Sono arrivati degli antipasti che comprendevano un pezzo a scelta per ciascuno: discreti, si poteva decisamente fare di meglio considerando che erano già freddi quando ce li hanno serviti. Il primo comprendeva due tipi di pasta: ci avevano detto che si trattava di assaggi ma non pensavamo fino a questo punto. Ci sono state infatti portate due pirofile veramente minimal di pasta insipida e considerato che eravamo in sei, abbiamo dovuto fare veramente fatica per dividere il contenuto. Il secondo idem: ci avevano detto che ognuno avrebbe avuto il proprio piatto che comprendeva una grigliata di vari tipi di carne ma anche in questo caso sono arrivate due pirofile da dovere condividere. Naturalmente c’è stato chi non ha avuto modo di mangiare e provare qualcosa. Il dolce prevedeva il tipico cannolo di Piana, sicuramente buonissimo ma per mangiarlo ci hanno fatto attendere tantissimo, più di mezz’ora, perché si è dovuto aspettare che tutti in sala finissero di mangiare il secondo. La cosa che ho trovato più fastidiosa è stata che i tavoli sono praticamente gli uni attaccati agli altri e non c’è possibilità di muoversi tanto che quando qualcuno di noi doveva alzarsi, tutti dovevamo alzarci a nostra volta per lasciarlo passare. Tutto ciò provocando naturalmente irritazione nei confronti della persona che sedeva alle nostre spalle. Il personale poco preparato e confuso, ha sbagliato più volte le portate: un esempio, ci hanno dapprima consegnato in mano un’altra pirofila di pasta dicendo che fosse nostra e scusandoci per averci fatto attendere; un istante dopo ce l'hanno tolta per portarla da un’altra parte senza peraltro fornire spiegazioni. Molta confusione anche nel resto dell’ambiente per cui si faceva veramente fatica a parlare con gli altri commensali e si doveva necessariamente urlare per potersi fare sentire. Non credo che ci torneremo più. Un vero peccato vista la bellezza del posto in cui è immerso, ma sicuramente potrebbe essere...
