Ristorante osteria Il Bivio — Restaurant in Pieve a Nievole

This is a beautiful restaurant and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding and we even had the owner chat to us about the origins of the food and how it is sourced locally and seasonally.

We had the Fiorentina Steak which was probably the tastiest piece of meat we have ever had, perfect with just a bit of salt that it really didn't need any additions.

The side dishes and starters were all delicious too and we were well looked after by the kitchen. My partner is coeliac and the staff were very understanding and helpful with this, the restaurant is accredited by the AIC. (Italian Coeliac Association)

We ended our meal with a really good tiramisu and a bowl of strawberries, sugar and lemon, the perfect fresh lift after the meat.

This is a steak lovers dream, it is a substantial bit of meat, but with some small sides we weren't left feeling uncomfortably full. A very memorable occasion and a must if you are near...

What a great find😃. We stumbled across this Osteria in passing ....(which is more like fine dining). The service was quick, efficient and friendly. Now the food....what a delightful treat. Complimentry appetizer and glass of proseco to wet the appetite. We thoroughly enjoyed everything, from wild boar to cod and pasta to roasted pan vegetables and the wine. The atmosphere and ambient nature of this quaint delight left us feeling very satisfied. We'd like to duplicate it and take it home.....but we settle for a return trip and certainly...

Sono stata con degli amici a cena in questo posto che è un ambiente molto carino ma per il resto davvero scadente,personale inesperto con modi molto rudi basta pensare che è caduta una forchetta ed è stata rimessa nel piatto di portata senza essere cambiata .Cibo buono di sapore ma il galletto al mattone era crudo dentro e non lo abbiamo mangiato la cameriera ci ha detto che non veniva conteggiato ma in realtà nel conto finale lo abbiamo pagato la tagliata era callosa e dura ma buona di sapore affettato tagliato al coltello buono ma con fette altissime , sicuramente non ci torneremo mai più e non lo consigleremo ad altre persone .

Mi riferisco alla risposta data alla mia recensione fatta chiedo scusa per non aver visualizzato lo scontrino ma la persona che ha pagato per avere la fattura mi ha detto che non era stato tolto il galletto questa è stata una mia negligenza nell essermi fidata e nel non aver accertato e per questo mi scuso però avete avuto da ridire solo su questo fatto senza curarvi di quanto altro detto nella prima recensione quindi la figuretta non l ho fatta io ma l avete fatta voi perché non credo che piaccia a nessuno andare in un ristorante vedere che una forchetta cade a terra e la cameriera con molta tranquillità la riposiziona nel piattino del dolce e la serve ..insomma che dire di ciò non vi siete curati affatto anzi avete scaricato tutto sul discorso del galletto prendendo in considerazione questo perché avevate lo scontrino a dimostrazione. Quindi io starò attenta prima di parlare ma voi state attenti al servizio perché non vi fate un ottima...
