Mensa Humanitas — Restaurant in Pieve Emanuele

Not worth the money, the price makes no sense with a side at 4 euros and a side plus main at 4.50€. The organization is purely financial and makes no dietary logic. With pizza (a carb) counting as a second plate along with all the proteins and vegetables, and only pasta (a carb) counting as a main. Which means if you want more than one plate it better be some over cooked watered down sauce pasta. You have to specifically request tiny packets of sauce (ketchup and mustard) and can only get 1 per person, be ready to get yelled at if you go back because you forgot to ask while in line. The last confusing thing is the ticket system which only accepts cash for someone reason. Food also does not have descriptions next to it making it very difficult to identify the food youre getting. The attitude of the staff, barring a few, is rude. I would not recommend it unless you had no other option. Frequento spesso la mensa humanitas per via della mia salute che purtroppo mi costringe a frequenti presenze presso l'ospedale/centro di ricerca/campus universitario Humanitas di Rozzano. Ho lavorato molti anni e ho sempre pranzato nelle mense aziendali quindi credo di aver un po' di esperienza critica in questo settore. Devo riconoscere che questa mensa, che tra l'altro non assomiglia ad una mensa in quanto ambiente accogliente e confortevole, è la migliore che abbia avuto occasione di frequentare. Il cibo è ottimo e la scelta è varia. Tutto il bere è a libera scelta a costo zero, senza limite. E non solo acqua ma tisane, infusi, bibite particolari (es. chinotto della Liguria, agrumi con aloe, mela verde con aloe, menta e liquirizia ed altre ancora...) accettano ticket. Il costo di un pasto è un ticket. Direi che tra tutto è sicuramente...

Quest'oggi a pranzo mi sono organizzato per mangiare in questa mensa non sapendo che non era disponibile per i parenti dei ricoverati in struttura Humanitas e sinceramente sono rimasto senza parole quando avvicinandomi alla cassa per pagare, una persona addetta mi ha tolto letteralmente il vassoio dalle mani perché non avevo i voucher e mi ha quasi cacciato via dicendomi che la mensa è soltanto per i dipendenti e gli studenti. Sinceramente ci sono rimasto molto male! Un po' di umanità e rispetto non guasterebbe a quella persona arrogante...
