Bullitt Drink&Food — Restaurant in Piombino

In the heart Tuscany an American Roadhouse wannabe is already out of place, but without prejudices we decided to trust the many TripAdvisor reviews and step into Bullitt. Unfortunately the restaurant did not stand the alleged quality and we ended up having a terrible experience. After being ignored for long time before even receiving the menus we waited more than an hour to see our orders brought to the table with only tuscan bread to keep us busy.

My mixed meat plate turned out to be low quality stir fried stewed pork leftovers and my friend found a long black hair in his hamburger panini, which bread was not even remotely fresh or simply good.

At the moment of paying at the counter the guy working affirmed that all of ours 100€ bills available to test were fake, when clearly the circumstances suggested that his machine was malfunctioning instead. We managed to convince him that we were in good faith and rushed out from this...

The Terrence Hill, the Lee Van Cleef as their movies…straight forward, no nonsense and exceptional good and in this case delicious! The burgers at Bullitt are the best in town, same for the service! I highly recommend it for those who like good burgers and who likes to sit in a typical Americana road diner...

Tutto buonissimo e servizio perfetto. Unica nota negativa, la mancanza di un panino vegano (parlo del pane proprio). Praticamente come accade spesso, c'era uovo o latte nell'impasto del pane.

MA IL BURGER È VEGETALE 100%.

Per cui si è risolto facendo portare un burger, con pane casereccio, servito con olio evo e cipolle fresche, carote, insalata, pomodori tagliati con stile e non a caso. E insieme nel piatto, dei gustosissimi fagioli cremosi.

Francamente sono rimasta soddisfatta della soluzione, anche se avrei voluto trovare proprio un vero panino con hamburger, già composto e vegetale 100% . Abbiamo preso anche patate fritte ed anelli di cipolla (con vera cipolla dentro e non il solito impasto dove di cipolla c'è solo l'odore). Una birra bionda per accompagnare.
