Il Cacciatore di Sapori — Restaurant in Pisa

This place is a gem! We first saw it on our way back from Pisa to Tirrenia. The restaurant is located just by the side of the road and I can understand some people may find it disturbing, but if you can look over it, you will be rewarded with, in my opinion, the best pizza (Napoletana style!) in the area! The place is nice and relaxed, the other dishes we tried were also very tasty and well cooked. The "frittura di calamari e gamberoni" was coooked/fried to perfection. To finish, the pistachio panna cota was to die for. The staff / service is very friendly and attentive. If you are staying in the Tirrenia area, make the effort to drive the short 3 - 4kms to Il Cacciatore di Sapori. Well worth it! We ate here two evenings in the second week of July. Tip: you sit outside so don´t forget to apply som mosquito repellent. Tip 2: For some reason they cannot add tip on a CC so have some cash in case you intend to...

I can say with certainty the food at Acquaviva is top quality. We had dinner here on a number of occasions. The owner will try to push his special of the evening, I am always a bit hesitant to try a fish that I am not familiar with (due to food allergies), but I was happy to try something new. The seafood risotto is amazing, a must try if you are close by. As with most Italian restaurants, reservations are highly advised, but you can sneak in on occasions if you arrive sufficiently early (like when the open for dinner). There was not a bad dish on the menu. The prices are competitive for the area. All in all, a good value...

Partendo dal presupposto che la gestione di questo locale è cambiata da pochi mesi, invece di fare la solita recensione soggettiva che poi può lasciare il tempo che trova, vorrei cercare di fare una critica costruttiva dettata dal mio beckround prossionale e quindi non fine a se stessa: 1 - la location carina ha un grosso potenziale ma c'è ancora molto da fare soprattutto nella parte esterna. 2 - Il brand " Il Cacciatore di Sapori " discutibile sotto un profilo di marchio aziendale , ma che potrebbe essere calzante se applicato ad una reale ricerca culinaria nel proporre piatti non convenzionali, altrimenti si rischia di creare delle aspettive forvianti alla clientela. 3 - I prezzi applicati devono essere proporzionali alla qualità delle materie prime proposte e a come vengono cucinate ( es. frittura di pesce a € 18.00 ). Quando ordini una frittura a questo prezzo, dovrebbe essere quantomeno decente e non inzuppata nell'olio e priva di sale ( come è successo a me)...Questi errori non dovrebbero accadere mai...A favore però di questa cosa devo dire che comunque di due fritture pessime, una mi è stata tolta dal conto. 4 - il servizio buono ma non in linea con il posizionamento a cui vuole ambire il locale ( es. quando si porta il vino a tavola, prima di poggiare la bottiglia sul tavolo, è buona norma farlo assaggiare prima, cosa che a me non è successa)...

Detto questo, spero per i titolari che questa mia recensione serva sooprattuto da imput a progredire e a fare meglio per il futuro...La strada per il successo è sempre in salita e piena di ostacoli e dipende solo dalle decisioni che prenderete lungo il vostro cammino...In qualsiasi caso in bocca al...
