We've visited a few Agriturismos now and I can honestly say, without exception, this is the best of them all. It's more like a boutique hotel, with great attention to detail, from the lovely touches in the rooms and very high standard of finish and of course super clean. ||The food was exceptional. ||A huge spread for breakfast, with fresh eggs, cereals, yoghurts, cakes, fresh croissants, coffee and fresh apple and orange juice. ||Dinner was no different, an amazing antipasti and main courses all using locally sourced produce. ||Barbara was a great host, with good English. Ho avuto il piacere di cenare in un ristorante che, dal punto di vista della location, merita davvero un plauso. Immerso in un ampio spazio verde, con giardini ben curati e un’atmosfera che invita al relax, il locale è perfetto per chi cerca una fuga dalla frenesia quotidiana. Purtroppo non posso dire lo stesso per il cibo, almeno per il momento, perché mi riservo di dargli un’altra chance. Sebbene le aspettative fossero alte, vista la qualità della location e la cura del servizio, la cena non ha soddisfatto appieno le mie attese. Se la location è sicuramente un punto di forza che mi invoglia a tornare, il mio voto finale sul cibo è di 7 su 10. Il Tagliere misto di salumi e formaggi, insalate fredde, zuppe calde e sfiziosità varie (20,00 euro) è un classico della tavola italiana, quindi semplice e buono, il Filetto di cervo in salsa (un fuori menù di cui non ricordo il prezzo), ben abbinato con la salsa di accompagnamento, è stato tenero e delicato, mentre la Guancia di manzo semi-glassata alla cannella (20,00 euro), consigliata da una cameriera come carne particolarmente morbida da sciogliersi in bocca, era tutt’altro che burro, l’ho trovata infatti veramente difficile da masticare, fibrosa e troppo soda (forse per un problema di cottura). Invece il Cappuccino dello chef, come coccola di fine pasto a 7,00 euro, è stato un’alternativa gradevole al caffè. Potevo far riportare indietro il secondo di carne?
