Our first dinner arriving in Tuscany - it was ABSOLUTELY delicious. Recommended by our host at Agriturismo Apparita, couldn’t have made a better choice. Exclusivel fish dishes, we had the polpo e sepia salad and the mediterranean fish cooked in a glass (vasocottura), everything was on point, fresh and accompanied by a great tuscan white wine recommended by the owner. To round up: 3 flavours of cannoli prepared fresh by the owner’s wife from Sicily, with a perfect liquor from Santa Bianca destillery. What a gem in the middle of the town in Pomarance. We are staying in the area for 5 nights and have come across the restaurant - we love seafood, local produce and wine and this was the perfect choice. Stopped in for lunch and was blown away. The food presentation is simple and elegant while the flavor profiles are innovative and complex. If you enjoy good product prepared with a subtle and purposeful hand then you will enjoy the food here. I have eaten at highly regarded restaurants that don't hold a candle to some of the dishes that i ate here. Extraordinary food and experience....
