As a chef from Nice, France, I am always looking for authentic Italian cuisine. Zi Michele in Pompeii is a delicious gem!

We have been to this charming restaurant three times out of five during our vacation, and each time has been nothing short of exceptional. The food is simply incredible - fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.

The owner, Michele, is a passionate chef who takes pride in his craft. He uses only the freshest local ingredients, and it shows in every dish.

I highly recommend starting with the antipasti, which are a feast for the senses.The grilled vegetables are smoky and flavorful, the cheeses are sharp and tangy, and the meats are cured to perfection.

For your main course, you can't go wrong with the pasta. The pasta alla scoglio is a classic seafood pasta dish that Michele executes flawlessly.The pasta is cooked al dente, the sauce is rich, and the seafood is fresh and flavorful.

And don't forget to save room for dessert! The tiramisu is a must-try. It's light, airy, and perfectly balanced with coffee and mascarpone.

Overall, Zi Michele is a true hidden gem in Pompeii. If you're looking for a truly authentic and delicious Italian dining experience, I highly recommend checking it out. You won't be disappointed!

Was the best dinner we had during our stay in pompei! The food came in large amount with a very good price. We received excellent service from the restaurant. We were very happy with the whole experience, and of course with the food! And also the pizza was really amazing, be sure to try it out. One large pizza is more than enough for two person as dinner :) but of course we wanted to try out everything and ordered a lot of food :)

And also, if you drive there with your car, donobe surprised if someone approachres you for 1 euro before you leave. He actually should be looking after your car even if you parked just in the street in front of the restaurant. His communication can be confusing sometimes but he deserves that 1 euro :)

Anyways, overall very good experience. Would recommend to everyone and would definitely come...

I've never met service as in this place. When we entered there was no one yet. But next half hour staff was sitting at the table talking loudly with a dog near that was barking every minute. Only after half hour they turned on the light for us. I ordered grilled fish and after 40 minutes (we were alone there!) they brought to me a fish that swam in oil and instead of do anything with it fix it somehow they screamed on me. I neither tried to eat it after all what they done. So I've wasted my time, money and a good mood. Categorically don't recommend this place. Have to add that this "restraunt" basing in an industrial zone. So if you happen to be in Pompeii search something more descent for not ruin your impression of...
