Ai Sette Nani I would recommend this restaurant to any tourist looking to experience genuine local cuisine and freshly sourced ingredients, and want to enjoy a beautiful location – whether traveling solo or in large groups. This is a well known restaurant locally but one I hadn’t had the chance to visit in various years, so I was happy to see it continues to offer excellent food, honouring local traditions and adding a twist of novelty in some details. The place is known for large celebrations and I wasn’t sure if it would cater for a couple looking for a simple enough meal on an uneventful Wednesday night, but I needn’t worry. The a’ la carte menu has a good range of reasonably priced choices, however I asked Marco – our host – if he had any specials and he suggested the catch of the day. We shared tagliolini all’astice and a healthy sized branzino – we chose the option of having it done with potatoes, cherry tomatoes and olives. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented and cooked, the flavours individually intense and well balanced. Marco then presented us with his version of the traditional “sgroppino”, a delicious mix that uses the restaurant’s Perla Rubra (another classic) – definitely something to try. In short, we had a feast, and can’t...

Me and my wife came here specially cause the family took us, saying that the fish is amazing. Was supposed to be a nice dinner with all the family after long time.. but from the starting the service was too late and we had to wait a really long time for every dish to come. But was really disappointed us was the disrespect, we specially asked for pasta with tuna fish but they served us cod fish thinking that we wouldn't notice. We were a family of nine people, all Indian and just my sister in law was white-italian. All the rest of the table were served before us, even if we came before them. We tell the owner about the cod fish and that we were really disappointed with everything.. he came after us saying sorry for what happened and that we could come the day after and he would offer us a meal for free. But really is not about the money but is about respect. We appreciate the offer, but we would rather pay extra than eat for free and be disrespected like this.
