Atlantic Oil — Restaurant in Poppi

A review is supposed to represent the way you think about a certain experience. I say this because usually, I understand that this place has great serving. Unfortunately, in this night, the serving was terrible. Food started to come over 60 mins. These were only the french fries and some appetizers. Some of the fries were actually cold. After 40 mins we got the main dish aka some pizza. Some of us had it for takeaway because we were no longer hungry, getting stuffed with water. 0 communication from the waitress, on why the food was taking so long to get on our table. When we got up to pay, there's this island where you do it and the owner was there, explaining how a kid baptism event there has messed up everything. He have us a discount on our bill and offered to give us free coffee. Not great, not terrible. Kinda bad...

Sono un frequentatore abituale del locale. A volte capito con la mia comitiva in tarda serata (00:00/02:00) ed il locale è aperto (ovviamente non tutto il menu è disponibile a tale fascia oraria) e non ci sono problemi di tavoli ma per una cena in orario tradizionale è quasi obbligatoria la prenotazione data la grande affluenza di clienti. Il luogo è abbastanza spazioso e diviso in due piani, dei quali il primo è aperto esclusivamente il fine settimana o nei periodi di molta clientela. L'ambiente è ben curato con esposizioni artistiche locali che variano nel tempo; talvolta ci sono esibizioni dal vivo. L'ornamento del tavolo è molto semplice, tanto che non è prevista spesa per il coperto. La carta del menu' è varia, con un occhio anche per i prodotti locali. Il pezzo forte è lo stinco di maiale. Le birre (artigianali) sono di 5 tipologie diverse, ognuna caratterizzata, con sapore molto gradevole, infatti il locale è considerato birreria. Dolci sia preconfezionati che della casa.
