Ristorante Urru Efisio — Restaurant in Pula

The food is perfect. We had the mixed seafood grill, the goat ragu and for dessert we had the tiramisu and a dolce Misti. All food was fresh and delicious. We received a side of fried chips that we didn’t order but they were very fresh and well salted so appreciated them.

We would have had the pulpo starter but we ordered it and it never arrived.

We also asked 3 times for the bill and waited an hour to pay. Also our fault for not making a bigger fuss but we did try to be accommodating seeing as the waiters are so busy.The waiters are clearly overworked and the place is severely understaffed.

Several reasons for not really good review. We came quite early and there was not much choice. Ok, I can even understand that. Even though we had a strong feeling they just wanted to sell what suits them better (price regarding). We travel a lot, been to many places in Sardegna too, but never got smaller portion of “primo” and the price was not fair at all. I have to say, the food was not bad but overpriced. It's a beautiful place. We had mostly fish. The starters were great. The primo (spaghetti con vongole) very nice.

Then, the main arrived: fritto misto. Something was terribly wrong with the small fish in there and I had to wash my mouth. It can happen, I guess. Reported to the staff.

Dessert was amazing.

What I found a bit odd is that nobody mentioned the bad dish again. It's like they forgot about the problem. We of course paid everything in full and got a wry smile...
