Kradorfer Alm — Restaurant in Pustertal - Val Pusteria

We took the scenic route for a one-hour hike up to this restaurant, and wow, it was worth every step. The views along the way and at the restaurant were absolutely breathtaking. The setting, both in and around this gorgeous spot, was out of this world beautiful.

We chose to sit outside because it was quite warm inside. For our meal, we ordered the special: polenta and gorgonzola. It was perfect, especially when paired with a local beer, a well-deserved reward after our hike.

Come rovinare una passeggiata! Siamo stati pochi giorni fa in questa vallata e dopo una facile passeggiata volevamo dedicarci, 4 adulti e due bambini, ad un pranzo tipico alla Kradorfer alm, che includeva i classici patate, uova e speck, zuppa d’orzo etc. Arrivati all’una, abbiamo ricevuto poco dopo le bevande purtroppo caldine e con un sospetto annacquamento. Nonostante l’impressione non ottima anche causata da altri clienti scontenti che erano andati via prima di noi,abbiamo deciso di provare a trattenerci ma alle 14.15 avevamo ricevuto solo un hamburger per uno dei bimbi. Abbiamo chiesto del pane per l’attesa è dopo un malcelato rimbrotto ci é stato detto che la lista in cucina era ancora molto lunga e che avremmo dovuto aspettare ancora a lungo e per di più che essendo le patate terminate i piatti ordinati con i tuberi non sarebbero arrivati. Abbiamo allora deciso di andare via e alla richiesta del conto ci hanno detto che era impossibile pagare con carta per mancanza di linea; dovevamo pagare in contanti e quando abbiamo chiesto lo scontrino ce l’hanno tirato come se fosse una richiesta irragionevole. Fortunatamente questa è stata l’unica esperienza negativa in Trentino ma davvero ci ha rovinato...

Ich weiß nicht wo der "Local Guide" war, der die vorherige Bewertung abgegeben hat? Bestimmt nicht auf der Kradorfer Alm - einem schaurigen Ort des Massentourismus / Overtourism. Gemütlich sieht anders aus, völlig überfordertes Personal. Außer der überlaufenden Friteuse für Pommes gibt es nichts zu essen (wahrscheinlich kriegen die gar nicht soviel Essen hingefahren, wie Leite diesen Ort überrennen). Beim dritten Versuch/Tag dort einzukehren gab es dann Käseknödel - die schlechtesten, die ich in 30 Jahren in Südtirol bekommen habe. Das war wie Trockenbrot mit Wasser. Also vielleicht wäre ein Job als Knastkoch für die Bewirtschafter besser geeignet. Ich kenne die Hütte seit 30 Jahren - ein Gourmettempel war das noch nie - aber so schlimm wie dieses Jahr...war es definitiv noch nie. Die Natur in diesem Tal ist wirklich schön und gut zu wandern. Der Ort hätte wahrlich eine überhaupt als solche zu bezeichnende Versorgung verdient. Bei derart schlechter Behandlung durch das Personal fragt sich der Gast schon wozu es in jedem Tal einen Touristenverein gibt - der müsste ja an einer angemessenen und weniger abstoßenden Infrastruktur...
