Lerchner's in Runggen — Restaurant in Pustertal - Val Pusteria

Nowhere in the world haven been treated so unprofessionally, with unbelievable rudeness and just plain arrogant. We had reservation for 7:00 PM and as this place is literally in the middle of nowhere and up the mountain, we got there 10 minutes early. Waited for 15 minutes in front of the reception with a completely empty restaurant while the lady talked on her cell phone. After 15 minutes, an obviously frustrated, unqualified waitress or whatever she was greeted us with a loud scream that "FIRST OF ALL, we were 10 minutes early and SECOND OF ALL, she is alone (I am typing in uppercase, because this how she spoke) and then walked off to take care of another group that had come in after us. To top it off, an old man with dirty kitchen apron comes out of the kitchen, mask under his chin and told us that THEY decide which customer gets priority and if we don't like it, we can leave. And they all walked off ... I think this place can use a bit of training on customer services and I am pretty sure, looking at walk out of the kitchen, we were lucky to walk out and not having something come out of that kitchen. Looking at other reviews, this was not the only time they behaved...

While the food was good (NOT Michelin good), the service was abominable. After being ignored for 15 minutes, we had to ask for menus. We ordered and asked for a bottle of still water. We even had to remind them about the water…after our food began to arrive. The food arrived slower than a turtle, and they did not even bring out all the entrees at the same time (I received mine 15 minutes after my wife received hers). After we finished, we waited for about 10 minutes before we had to request our empty plates to be removed. We were really looking forward to the desserts, but after another 20 minutes, never receiving dessert menus, and being completely ignored by the waitress, we got up and paid at the counter and left. If a fine dining experience includes great (or even just passable) service, then I recommend you look elsewhere. This was terrible and we will...

Esperienza negativa anzi agrodolce. Telefoniamo per prenotare un tavolo con un cofanetto di una nota marca e ci viene detto che non ci sono problemi , ci prenotano un tavolo per un ora e ci presentiamo. Arrivati facciamo presente che abbiamo prenotato un tavolo e che abbiamo un cofanetto per pranzare. Loro , dicono che mai nessuno è venuto con un cofanetto ma che si infomava con la titolare del posto, intanto ci fanno accomodare al nostro tavolo e ci portano i menù,noi iniziamo a sfogliare e poco dopo viene il cameriere dicendo che era tutto ok che si stavano informando e di prendere l ordinazione , noi tranquilli dalle rassicurazioni , ordiniamo quello che ci dava il nostro cofanetto, 1 primo 1secondo dolce e caffè e un calice di vino .finito il pranzo visto che non si era fatto vivo nessuno , tranquillamente ci avviciniamo alla cassa con il nostro cofanetto sicuri di non dover pagare nulla e li la doccia fredda... dobbiamo pagare il pranzo per intero 84 euro. Dicono che loro non sono partecipano a questo gruppo e che non hanno mai aderito anzi che c è un errore che gli dispiace e che dobbiamo pagare. Ci fa vedere delle mail che ha mandato al presidio slo food del trentino dove dice che non aderiscono a nessun circuito. Paghiamo un po arrabbiati e c'è ne andiamo. Saliamo in auto e per la strada del ritorno telefoniamo al n che troviamo sul nostro cofanetto per avere delucidazioni. Troviamo una persona gentile che si scusa mille volte per l accaduto e che vuole approfondire la cosa , fa delle.ricerche al pc e dopo un po ci dice che loro sono in quel cofanetto da diversi anni e che hanno già emesso fatture su quel cofanetto che abbiamo noi.e che sono presenti oltre all anno in corso 2023 anche nell anno dopo 2024. Quindi vorrei capire perché non hanno preso il cofanetto? Intanto noi abbiamo dovuto sborsare dei soldi ,abbiamo provato a chiedere delucidazioni via e mail dell accaduto ma nessuno si è degnato di rispondere. Mi spiace perché il posto era bello e tipico e non si è mangiato male , ma per me è una cosa grave quella che è successa , non faccio mai recensioni negative ma questa volta la devo fare.
