Ich wusste, dass ich einen Fehler gemacht hatte, als der Lieferant mir mit einem mitleidigen Blick die Schachtel überreichte. Beim Öffnen traf mich der Geruch – eine Mischung aus Trauer, verbranntem Gummi und einer verlorenen Kindheitserinnerung.

Der Teig? Härter als meine Steuererklärung. Der Belag? So spärlich verteilt, dass ich dachte, ich hätte eine Diät-Pizza bestellt. Und der Käse… nun ja, wenn man ihn überhaupt so nennen kann, hatte er sich entschieden, nur auf einer Hälfte der Pizza zu bleiben – vermutlich weil auch er wusste, dass der Rest nicht zu retten war.

Ich habe die erste Scheibe gebissen – ein Fehler. Meine Zähne sendeten mir sofort eine Kündigung. Der Geschmack war eine Mischung aus „vor drei Wochen gebacken“ und „auf dem Boden einer Tankstelle gefunden“. Selbst meine Katze, die sonst ALLES frisst, hat mich angewidert angesehen und ist gegangen.
