Stauderhof — Restaurant in Pustertal - Val Pusteria

Wow! What an experience. As vegetarians our options are pretty limited for Austrian food and we had no idea what to expect but it was superb. We had the polenta with cheese and the tyrolean ravioli with spinach and ricotta which were amazing!! For dessert we were desperate to try kaiserschmarrn (spelling fail) and it did not disappoint!! Run by a family who are lovely and friendly. The views match the food in quality. Would recommend to everyone except maybe vegans who would struggle… worth the drive up...

Buono il servizio è la qualità del cibo, bella la location dalla quale si può ammirare la valle di San Candido. Abbiamo mangiato delle tagliatelle con un ragù misto di cacciagione e quelle che sul menu erano indicate come bistecche con patate. La pasta non male ma forse avrebbe dovuto essere condita meglio per far sentire di più il sapore della cacciagione; delusione per le “bistecche” che erano praticamente fettine cotte ( credo) in padella, non certo alla griglia. La bistecca deve essere tagliata in maniera da avere uno spessore di almeno da 1,5 / 2 cm cm e la sua cottura deve essere rigorosamente alla griglia!! Ad ogni modo occorrerebbe solo rivedere il menu e presentare il cibo descrivendo in modo appropriato ciò che offrite in modo da non dare false...
