Madly Ristorante — Restaurant in Quarto d'Altino

My only real problem is that when I asked for a wine menu the waitor said "we have many wines but no wine menu ". I asked for the house wine which he shrugged his shoulders at and then proceeded to ask us what kind of wine we would like. He then kindly offered us a sample which was very nice but 22 euros a bottle. .. please get a drinks menu and give your customers the real choice of what wine they would like. By all means offer a free sample and point it out on the menu. Food and service very good, staff friendly and helpful but you need to be careful you don't get a reputation for pushing expensive wine on tourists or ripping people off. My advice is if they don't have a drinks menu walk away. We were looking for a place for our friends last dinner in Italy, we considered a few places and luckily found Madly! The interior has a super cool design aesthetic and the outdoor patio is covered with Wisteria and was lovely on a summer evening. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Sempre stata una grande amante di questo ristorante ma quest’ultima volta devo ammettere di esserne uscita molto dispiaciuta. Prezzi davvero molto alti rispetto al servizio (non ci è stato portato il pane, ma il coperto è stato pagato 3 euro a persona). Abbiamo preso due “vegan burger” che però di “vegan” avevano solo il nome: avevano compreso anche il Brie e lo abbiamo gentilmente chiesto di togliere. Dato che il panino sarebbe stato immangiabile vista la secchezza, abbiamo chiesto alla cameriera di portarci del ketchup che ci è stato galantemente aggiunto al conto finale. Come ciliegina sulla torta, avevamo chiesto delle verdure grigliate che il cuoco si è dimenticato di cucinare. Per fortuna quel panino secco composto principalmente di pane ci aveva abbondantemente riempito e abbiamo chiesto alla cameriera di non portarci le verdure (almeno queste le avevano tolte dal conto). Ero stata avvisata dalla cameriera che le opzioni vegane sarebbero state poche in confronto a qualche tempo fa ma non mi aspettavo così tanto cambiamento (in peggio).
