Ristorante Da Odino — Restaurant in Quarto d'Altino

Very good quality of absolutely tasty food, unfortunately with somewhat messy and seemingly untrained service. The octopus was made to perfection (one of n'est I ever had!). But the primi came before the appetisers, the waitress asked if some of us wanted desert before my secondi even arrived (my guess is they just forgot it). White wine came completely warm and needed to be iced, indoor seating is a sauna (we were early (7:40 pm) so apparently the restaurant didn't switch on the air con early enough) ... We're on vacation so it felt funny rather than annoying as this place is trying to be upscale but fails with small details here and there... Again, food...

We stayed at the Hotel Park Junior and this is their restaurant. It’s good, fresh and friendly. However the prices are high and there is a “cover charge” of 3€/person. I feel like if you are staying at the hotel they could not charge you the cover charge. I would recommend the restaurant for a nice meal.

Update: we ate here for a second time and enjoyed it again, although we ordered the same exact things as before. I still think the cover charge is ridiculous even though it’s very European, I think for hotel guests they should...

Staying at the Hotel Park Junior I thought it would be worth trying their on-site restaurant, I was not disappointed. I was hesitant as the menu was not too clear around gluten free options, but after speaking to the waitress they confirmed that they had gluten free pasta. I was offered gluten free crackers as an alternative to their appetisers whist awaiting my food. I really enjoyed this dining experience and would recommend to others. I was shocked at how nice my prawn pasta...
