This is the worst restaurant experience we have had in all of Italy. The owner or the waiter in the pic had a nasty attitude, the food service was crawling slow. We ordered several dishes and after an hour and a half they brought in 80% of our orders. After about 2 hours we moved on to desserts and then they offered to bring the salad and spaghetti. We said we waited long enough and we were ready for desserts. The owner agreed he forgot about the 20% orders but then just as we were about to walk out he said the spaghetti and salad were ready now and expected us to pay for it. We tried to reason with him and he was extremely confrontational and yelling loudly. We ended up paying for dishes that never arrived, but never again! This place sucks big time. The only saving grace, the food tastes okay, not great.
Update: based on the reply from the restaurant, I guess they work with a different time clock from the rest of the world. We gave our orders 2 hours before sphagetti arrived. The waiter/owner clearly agreed that he "forgot the order" but had fired up the spaghetti in the kitchen which would be ready in"10 minutes" further out. This arrived as we were walking out. Clearly his fast service response is a 'cooked up' story. Anyway, there were other patrons who were seated, but were never asked their orders even after 60 minutes and the couples just walked away. This happened at more than one table. Look at other reviews from past from other patrons and they all complain about...
Read moreThis is a really great restaurant in the heart of Quarto D'Altino. The service is really good, but unfortunately all of our food was not delivered at the same time (we were four people, of which two had pizze and two had fish). This resulted in the two having fish, had to sit and stare for as long as it took the rest of the party to finish their pizze, before their plates were delivered. Keep this in mind when you order! I was one of the (lucky) two, who had a pizza and can strongly recommend the pizza diavola, which was definitely the best diavola I've ever had. The crust was done to perfection and the salame piccante were lovely spicy! All in all I really recommend this place, but be advised that it is a well visited tourist place. This means menus in Italian/English/German, very large facilities and a modern sleek look of effectivity. These points are not necessarily bad in any way, but should be taken into consideration, if the goal is a local restaurant in old-fashioned italian style (which this is...
Read moreI ordered Pizza along with Spagetti and a glass of white wine. When i was about to finish my spagetti, i ordered another glass of wine since the pizza was NOT served yet. I was waiting for the wine 30mins, still the wine was not served not to mention the pizza!! I asked them to cancle both of them and the waitress told me if i want the pizza for take away. Seriously? Even i waited another 30mins for my change after payment. I needed to go to the cashier by myself to get my change. Not even sorry, nothing i can hear from the staffs. I was in a good mood while eating, but they ruined everything at the end. I know it is busy restaurant but i would not recommend here to any other my colleges who are staying near by the hotel! because their attitude toward the customer, especially who is alone!! This restaurant should hire more staff if you can not handle a lot of customers, to offer quailty...
