Masseria Samenti Ristorante — Restaurant in Racale

We’ve just had our wedding here and OMG the food was simply outstanding! The chef, Matteo, is super talented and you can tell he loves what he does and cares about the quality of ingredients he uses in each dish. Each and every dish Matteo made for us was out of this world! The seafood was top quality, super fresh and incredibly tasty! The seafood risotto impeccable and the We are Puglia pasta, (my favourite) was simply outstanding of this world! We celebrated our wedding here but also stayed for a week with some family and friends. Everyday Matteo would speak to us to check everything was ok and since two of our guests were vegan he’d find some delicious dishes for them to have!

The restaurant staff were simply incredible! Every single one of them were so caring and helpful, even when guests could not speak a word of Italian this was not a problem at all!

This restaurant truly has a special place in our hearts now and we simply can’t wait to be back as soon as we can to make more magical memories and eat more delicious food! Thank you Chef and everyone else for making our taste buds sing and for being the best hosts ever! We will...

Ieri sera io e il mio compagno abbiamo avuto il piacere di cenare alla Masseria Samenti, un luogo che incanta già all’arrivo, con la sua atmosfera intima e curata. La cucina è stata una vera scoperta: piatti della tradizione pugliese, sì, ma rivisitati con eleganza, gusto e tanta creatività. Io ho scelto un piatto a base di pesce ("non è paella" : una sinfonia di sapori, perfettamente equilibrati, profumati di Mediterraneo. Un piatto divino, davvero. Il mio compagno ha optato per la carne, e ha cominciato con una battuta di fassona servita con una spuma di parmigiano e un uovo fritto croccante sopra – una combinazione sorprendente, ma armoniosa, che ha conquistato anche me al primo assaggio. Io poi ho proseguito con una frittura di pesce croccantissima e leggera, tra le migliori mai mangiate accompagnate da maionese piccante e gel al limone fatto in casa. Lui ha scelto un primo piatto eccezionale (credo si chiamasse "made in Puglia") Abbiamo concluso con i dolci della casa, raffinati e golosi, perfetto finale per una cena che ci ha lasciati pienamente soddisfatti. Un plauso speciale al personale, sempre presente, attento e gentile, capace di farci sentire accolti senza mai essere invadenti. Ed ovviamente un grande complimento allo chef. In sintesi: una masseria che racconta la Puglia con cuore, gusto e intelligenza. Torneremo...

There is only one way to describe this place..A HIDDEN PURE GEM! Our experience has been fantastic since arrival, we were immediately greeted from extremely friendly staff. After a brief description of the daily specials, we received some bubbles and a complementary bite (which was awesome!). Food is simply fantastic, plenty of creativity and flavour in the dishes. Cannot recommended more!! One of the best places we have ever visited....
