Gramole — Restaurant in Ragusa

I rarely rate places I visit. I don't have words to describe this experience. We choose the tasting menu :"Fabio, you do it." This exceptional food covered my entire taste palett. It was brilliant! I've never eaten anything as good as this. It was most definitely one of the best experiences I've ever had in my entire life. I closed my eyes and nearly cried because I was so touched by the brilliance of the delicious food and the excellent service. I have travelled around the world, but this beats it all. The waiter, Gonzalo, made the experience even better. He delivered every course of the menu with a story. A story that enhanced the experience even more. He wasn't chatty but rather precise and impressively professional. He is truly the best waiter I have ever been served by. He had an adept, Silvio, and he is learning from the very best. Waiters like Gonzalo are rarely to be seen. Just to be served by him was worth the money. And while talking about money. Yes, the menu is expensive. But it is the most well spent money I've ever spent in a restaurant. And they did not overcharge as they do in many restaurants on Sicily. We paid exactly what we ordered and not a cent more. Even though after having this heavenly food and splendid service, we would have expected to pay even more. If you are going to have one special meal in your life. This is it. Order "Fabio, you do it." and hopefully, you get served by Gonzalo. It is worth travelling across the whole wide world to sit at this small table in the countryside on Sicily and close your eyes and enjoy the best menu and the best service you ever experienced. I wish I was better with words, but maybe there simply aren't words enough to describe something...

Traveling from Malta for our wedding abroad, we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.

The food was incredible! Sicilian cuisine is truly the best. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the arancini, smoked fish, caponata, parmigiana, and especially the aubergine ravioli. The grilled lamb and tuna were also excellent! We can’t wait to come back to enjoy it all again.

The local wine from Tenuta Chearamonte winery was amazing. Having everything local made the experience even more special. It was wonderful to celebrate with the best that Sicily has to offer.

I recently enjoyed a multi-course fish menu at this restaurant. The food was very nice, with each course being nicely prepared and presented. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were enjoyable.

What really stood out, however, was the service provided by Gonzalo. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional. Gonzalo made sure that every moment of our evening was pleasant, and his recommendations were always spot on. His excellent service truly made our dining experience special. When my partner was dissatisfied with one of the dishes, Gonzalo promptly arranged for an additional dish, which was a lovely gesture and greatly appreciated.

My partner had a multi-course meat menu and was also quite satisfied. The dishes were well-prepared and tasty, adding to our overall positive experience.
