Ristorante La Collina D'Oro — Restaurant in Ramacca

What a fabulous way to enjoy a high quality meal and cool off from the day's scorching summer heat, than to go high in the mountains outside the town of Ramacca.

The quality of the food was excellent and the setting was something from a movie. The swimming pool overlooking the lights of the country towns in the distant are a feast for the eyes. The tables outside on the terrace was enchanting.

The seafood platers as well as whole fish, oysters, steamed muscles, fried calamari and the pizzas were cooked to perfection and using the freshest ingredients. The service was friendly and outstanding, considering the place was packed.

We shared a bottle of a local Sicilian white wine to go with the meal. It was full of flavor and the aroma of citrus was breathtaking. It went really well with the food.

What a meal and what a location. Do yourself a favour, even if you have to go out of your way and get on up there. You will have one of the best dining...

Sono stata in questo locale a mangiare la pizza, molto buona. Locale accogliente. Nota negativa: una domenica sera, dopo ripetute chiamate per prenotare un tavolo, il telefono risultava sempre occupato. Vado ugualmente, spiego la situazione e praticamente c'era un evento quella sera, per cui avevano messo il telefono in modalità occupata. Questo non l'ho trovato molto professionale. Sono stato il 13 di sera, posto caratteristico molto arioso specie per chi vuole scappare dal caldo estivo, si stava da Dio, cibo ottimo anzi direi eccellente, ho preso il riso alla marinara, frutti di mare freschissimi, il vero sapore del mare, i miei hanno preso la pizza buonissima pure quella, ottima la grigliata di pesce, il vino si casa veramente genuino, direi che se vi trovate in zona dovete assolutamente andarci, prezzo abbordabile...
