It was a privilege to stay in such a historic building, a 14th century monastery hidden in the Italian countryside, you feel that you have entered real Italy just by having stayed here. Entering under gazebos, wondering through rooms with al fresco paintings - it's originality and beauty is like no where I have stayed before.|The lady Larisa and her husband Masimo who own the hotel are the most welcoming, caring hosts I have ever met- from historical information, to making sure your stay is as comfortable as possible they go above and beyond to ensure you have the best experience.|Finally the food - the food i ate in their restaurant was the best I have ever had - a 4 course of taste tingling delights with each course introduced to us by Larisa, the wine (produced from their own vineyard) was delicious and then a homemade lemongrass aperitif was the perfect end. There was a wedding happening at the other side of the courtyard which added to our experience the music created the perfect ambiance for our meal. It was the real Italian experience and if anyone is travelling to Italy I feel they need to stay or eat in this place to really experience the kindness, generosity and culture of the people. Location a dir poco ECCEZIONALE!

Ogni volta riscoprire il piacere reale di ambiente raffinato, cucina di stagione e piatti con prodotti del territorio, calici di nettare d’uva proveniente da vitigni autoctoni di proprietà. Madame Larissa, gusto eccellente nel rinnovare costantemente le salette interne ma anche il dehor esterno specie nelle lunghe serate estive. Monsieur Massimo, perfetto MasterChef, con la sua brigata è capace di soddisfare anche i palati più esigenti, dalle entrée, i primi piatti a base di pasta fatta in casa, l carni selezionate e sapientemente cucinate ad hoc. Coppia perfetta, sa accogliere e stupire gli ospiti, soprattutto il gentil sesso! Voto da 1 a 10: senza dubbio alcuno 10 cum laude, ovvero a pieni voti!!!

E poi, i ricordi, quei momenti scolpiti nel Cuore e nei piccoli solchi intorno agli occhi che portano immediatamente al grandissimo Raul Gardini con il Suo Moro di Venezia…🔝

Location that is nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL!

Each time rediscover the real pleasure of a refined environment, seasonal cuisine and dishes with local products, glasses of grape nectar from native vines owned. Madame Larissa, excellent taste in constantly renovating the internal rooms but also the outdoor terrace especially on long summer evenings. Monsieur Massimo, perfect MasterChef, with his brigade is able to satisfy even the most demanding palates, from the entrées, the first courses based on homemade pasta, the selected meats and expertly cooked ad hoc. Perfect couple, they know how to welcome and amaze guests, especially the fairer sex! Rating from 1 to 10: without a doubt 10 cum laude, or with flying colors!!!

And then, the memories, those moments carved in the Heart and in the small furrows around the eyes that immediately lead to the great Raul Gardini with His Moro di Venezia…🔝
