Laghi della Tranquillità — Restaurant in Reggello

Our main agenda for the trip is to shop (till we drop!) at both the Mall, Leccio and Space, Montevarchi, hence, this place is located perfectly in between these 2 points. Both in a distance of approx. 20-mins drive.|The lady at the check-in counter (located in the restaurant which is also the cashier counter) upgraded us to a 2-storey, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with a balcony overseeing the beautiful lake apartment due to the low season. If you’re driving, you will get a private parking beneath the apartment, there’s no elevator to go to your door, but it’s just 2-storey high to your apartment’s door step, which we managed with 8-luggages (all ladies, mind you!). The washer cum dryer are located at the ground floor, outside and below of your apartment entrance, with a fee. There’s a bedroom located at the 1st floor of the apartment with a spacious bathroom (no bath tubs). Other amenities, like a functioning kitchen which includes a refrigerator, gas stove and other kitchen utensils are provided. There’s a sofa bed in front of the kitchen cabinets and dining table (for 4), but due to the space constraint, we didn’t use it. To get to the second bedroom, there’s a confined spiral staircase you have to braved to climb every time as the steps are small, but manageable! |Upon check-out, the lady’s brother helped us to settle the payment, despite the lack of English communication, he managed to get help to explained our predicament on the due payment and managed to settled my misunderstanding politely.|Overall, despite the old and dated furnitures in the apartment, the place is almost spotless! Clean and cozy to stay. But, do mind the mosquitoes, but they do provide several plug-in insect repellent. Love it, and not to mentioned, value...

Everything was absolutely wonderful. The place is hidden in the middle of Tuscany and is incredibly calm. The room is very big, well equipped and clean. The bathroom as well. The only thing I would change is adding a bit more light, but that's just a detail. The service is very friendly and helpful. They tought us how to make a pizza and wrote down the full recipe :) The restaurant is just amazing. The restaurant garden is enormous and we were afraid that it will be like those big "all inclusive hotels" filled with tourists, but not at all. Every single evening, there are about 100 local people coming to eat fresh pizza and local dishes. Let this be the proof of quality. I think there's no need to add anything more :) The swimming pool is quite big (bigger than it appears on the pictures actually). During the day, it's kind of full of kids, but around 6 PM it is just perfect. You can swim freely, listening to some relaxing music and enjoying Tuscan sun.
