Great option when you exit from A1 at Incisa/Reggiolo. After the motorway barrier go right and go straight till the first roundabout. don't take the first exit on the right but the one on the left that goes on a hill. Here after 1 mile you find a hidden exit on the other side of the road (left side), watch out when you cross there. The restaurant has a quite big open and free parking so don't worry about that. I've been there on mid-august so, after waiting 10-15min for a table we sat on an open patio up this little hill. It's a little bit windy than down the valley so it's a good spot. After that we've got some entry bread and we were asked about the wine. Take the local red one. Than we've got the menus (meals of the day, regular menu and wine menu). Look at the pictures, there you'll find most of the things on the menu. We took fettuccine with ragù, tortelli with troffles and mushrooms and some lamb. Also we ate one of the most delicious fresh fries we've ever had in our life. Don't forget the fries!
The restaurant was almost full so the service was reasonably slow. We need to hurry so I haven't tried...
Read moreA bit of a dissapointing experience. After being seated we waited for more than half an hour for the waiter to take our order even after notifying them that we wanted to order several times, leading us to almost leaving as we felt ignored. After having ordered we received an entry that were average at best. Our main, the steak, were fine but not really worth the price. We got a side that were off menu. Our mistake were maybe to not ask for the price of said side but it was overpriced in comparison to the other sides on the menu and way overpriced when regarding what we received. Overall this was the first and only restaurant experience we had in Tuscany that left us with a dissapointing experience, even though it was the...
Read moreWhat a huge disappointment. The food was fine when it finally came out, but we had zucchini flowers which took at least 30 mins to come out, then our mains (3 pasta dishes and a veal dish) took a solid hour to come out. No dishes blew us away unfortunately. We really wanted to like this place, but it seemed really disorganised and one staff member really didn't want to be there. So sad because the table next to us were very repeat customers and lived locally, so it must be good, perhaps not just for tourists? Not sure. Wouldn't return if in the area or recommend to other people traveling to the area and want a meal, there are much better...
