Mamas Viale Calabria — Restaurant in Reggio Calabria

We visited this place while visiting Reggio Calabria. I was quite disappointed with my main dish as it took 1h to get it, mainly for the reason that we already finished eating starters when my friend was told that the main he ordered is not available. For this reason when our mains arrived my chicken was quite hard, possibly cooked and left to sit before being reheated, so it was not that tasty at all. We were also offered some oven vaked potatoes(without being informed that they will cost extra), to which we said yes, unfortunately potatoes were completely cold and it was a disappointing dish all together knowing I had to pay for my dish + €4 for a few cold potatoes. I just feel that staff messed up the order and delivered a poor quality dish knowing we were the 1st table to be seated, so it definitely...

Sorry the service was a bit disappointing also given we were the first customers and no one was there. It took 30min to let us know they don't have beefsteak, so ordered something else. Food arrived and ribs were ok, but baked potatoes were completely cold (not even a bit warm). I guess due to delay of beefsteak they cooked them long time ago. Ambiente intimo pulito. Ti fa stare bene. Ottime pizze (e che ampia scelta) e anche il resto. Ottimi i prezzi (forse altini per gli antipasti). E che dire del personale? Ragazzi educatissimi, cortesi. Servizio veloce e impeccabile. Tutto ti coccola. Bravi. Tutti promossi. Sabato 29 marzo: prenoto intorno alle 16. Alle 17.30 ottengo conferma telefonica e concordo per 4 posti in veranda per le 20.30. Arriviamo puntuali e un addetto, frettolosamente, mi dice , questo è il tavolo. Faccio presente che non è in veranda e che uno di quei tavoli con quelle sedie che bisogna arrampicarsi senza certezza di riuscire a scendere. Per noi che abbiamo 66 anni. L'addetto non si rende conto che, non essendo più giovani, la Sua proposta è inaccettabile. Rimarco che loro stessi mi hanno confermato in toto la prenotazione. Risponde, sempre frettolosamente: no mi dispiace in veranda è tutto prenotato/occupato. Ribatto: ma siete stati voi a darmi la conferma. Arriva una signorina che ascolta, senza fretta, il mio nome, evidentemente controlla e poi dice ok. Episodio spiacevole, soprattutto per la scarsa " sensibilità" del primo addetto che avrebbe dovuto rendersi conto della (scusatemi, senza offesa) ridicola proposta di sistemarci su dei trampoli. E dai... Comunque le 5 stelle rimangono perché continuo a trovarmi bene. Però, forse, un pizzico di attenzione in più a livello organizzativo. È una critica d'affetto la mia perché, comunque, rimanete sempre la mia pizzeria...
