Il Pozzo — Restaurant in Reggio nell'Emilia

Terrible service and I mean terrible. Owner is indifferent. Upon arrival had no idea that this restaurant has a Michelin star and after eating here found it incredible that they could even get one. We asked to be seated at a different table and were told all the tables were reserved for the evening, yet the entire time there, half the tables remained empty. During the course of our meal, we spent the entire time being ignored. The waiter focused his attention with one particular table of locals as did the owner with apparently someone who was a friend. Ordered the steak with truffles which arrived without the sauce and had to be sent back for the sauce along with beef cheeks and polenta which arrived without polenta and was sent back. Was told no more polenta due to the season yet no mention was made of that when ordering nor was the menu updated. Never asked if needed more drinks or wine with the meal. If you want to spend a meal being frustrated then this is the place to go. Either obtaining a Michelin star is quite easy or after doing an incredible amount of work to get one, the owner has decided to kick back and not care...

DA EVITARE ASSOLUTAMENTE! In giro con un collega per il centro di Reggio Emilia decidiamo di fermarci a cena e vediamo questo ristorante che espone l'insegna della guida Michelin 2017. Dopo una breve occhiata alla carta esposta decidiamo di entrare. L''ingresso estivo e dal giardino. Veniamo accolti da una ragazza di colore in tuta che ci fa accomodare su un tavolino. Siccome era molto caldo chiediamo se era possibile cenare su un tavolo adiacente dove c'era maggiore ventilazione ...in modo piuttosto sgarbato ci viene risposto che quel tavolo era occupato.(a quel tavolo non si è mai seduto nessuno. ) Ci viene proposto fuori menu dei piatti di pesce ... ma alla fine ordini amo due filetti all'aceto balsamico presenti nel menù . Chiediamo cosa era previsto di contorno e ci viene "comunicato patate, chiediamo se è possibile cambiare con un insalata per il mio collega e delle verdure per me.Nel frattempo per ingannare l'attesa chiediamo un piatto di culatello da condividere. Di piatti da condividere avremmo potuto magia ne dieci.....alla fine arrivano i filetti....con una salsa alla cipolla.....ingrediente non specificato da nessuna parte....il collega e allergico...lo facciamo notare è ci viene detto che il piatto lo abbiamo ordinato noi e quindi se vogliamo un altra cosa lo dobbiamo comunque pagare.... eventualmente si vedrà per uno sconto..... alla fine mangiamo questo filetto ...ll mio con cipolla quello del collega alla griglia.accompagnati da patate;le verdure e insalata sono a parte...Arrivato ora di pagare ci viene presentato un conto di 110 euro per due filetti un piatto di culatello due calici di vino bianco e due caffè. In modo garbato facciamo notare dopo aver pagato che era stato "promesso uno sconto che comunque avevamo ordinato un contorno diverso e non due contorni. Veniamo aggrediti verbalmente da chi ci ha servito! La mia domanda è questa. ...ma come è possibile che questo ristorante sia consigliato nella guida...

A fine restaurant with a wide assortment of fine food consisting of what I believed to be fresh ingredients. Nevertheless it is difficult to give a high rating as the prices were a little excessive, in my opinion. The service is €3.00, which is unbelievably high for an Italian restaurant. To some extent it is justified, for the owner serves a great plate of bread and three slices of salami before the food arrives. In any case, because of the welcoming attitude of the owner towards Italians, it's a popular place amongst locals. On the whole, the culinary experience should not disappoint, but take a good look at the prices...
