Without a doubt, this is the best restaurant in Sicily.” Over the course of four evenings, every dinner we had here was exceptional. The accommodation was peaceful and restful, and the owner’s kindness surpassed even that of a five-star hotel. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Sicily. Here, you won’t just enjoy a meal—you’ll experience true culinary excellence.

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist eine glatte EINS! Das ist kein Sterne-Restaurant mit viel Chichi, sonder richtig gute italienische Küche! Besonders hervorzuheben ist das höchst aufmerksame und super-freundliche Personal, dass nach der Äußerung eines Wunsches tatsächlich im Laufschritt(!) loseilte. Wir waren selten so begeistert! 2 Vorspeisen (weiße Pizza aus dem Steinofen und ein Kartoffelsalat mit Octopus), 2 Hauptgerichte (Muscheln und 8 Gambas) und eine Nachspeise, dazu Wasser und ein halber Liter Rotwein; Limoncello und Espresso gingen aufs Haus. Und das ganze für 45 EUR; erscheint mir eigentlich zu wenig. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Assenza di menù, quindi le pizze si ordinano a memoria. Qualità delle pizze appena discrete, impasto poco lievitato, la mozzarella non convince granché. Apprezzabile la pizza denominata bianchina. Si può ordinare una sola marca di birra in bottiglia. Sempre appena discreto il dolce su base pizza con ricotta e nutella. Consiglio di non far mettere la ricotta (totalmente insipida) ma solo la nutella. Prezzi medio alti per i cibi serviti e il tipo di locale.

Truly the best of the best. Pippo and Paolo made our stay in Ribera so special that we came back a second time to eat more. The mussels, the white pizza, the eggplant Parmesan, the seafood ragu, the anchovy meatballs and everything else was truly delicious. And the owners, so so so kind. I dream about this food here in America and I don’t think anything will beat it. I look forward to my return to Ribera to eat at...

Iniziamo nel dire che una volta seduti e apparecchiato in modo spartano, sono venuti subito a chiedere l'ordinazione senza neanche portare un menù, ma visto che sapevamo già cosa prendere, ordiniamo 2 Sauté di cozze, 1 acqua minerale, 1 lattina di coca cola e ci portano pane e la famosa "bianchina" richiesta solo con olio e origano (che dovrebbe essere compresa con il sauté). L'avventura continua con l'arrivo delle cozze con il sugo CIPOLLA e BASILICO??? Retrogusto dolciastro con i molluschi.... ANCHE NO! la focaccia Cruda (che facendolo notare l'hanno riportata cotta giusta) per l'ammontare di 35€!!!!!! Ora: 1- l'acqua proveniva da Lourdes? 2-la coca cola proveniva dalle scorte personali della famiglia Pemberton? Perchè a conti fatti un Sautè può costare 15€?????
