Rifugio Serauta — Restaurant in Rocca Pietore

We came to the restaurant to drink some coffe and eat cake, after we bought those thing we sat at the table next to the window to have the best view on the mountains, suddenly the waiter came and told us that we can not seat here because it is not the right part of the restaurant to drink coffe, we went to the right one, which is next to the entrance, without a view and all the tables were dirty, they cleaned it but still I do not understand whats the problem in sitting next to the window when half of the tables were empty. It was very weird and not nice from the staf and some time Ago there was no such a problem there. I really like this "café". They also make some sadwiches or strudels. You can order wines, coffees, prosecco, hot wine, Lemon soda, hot chocolate, Bombardino and so on. They have very huge sortiment. Everyone will choose. Most important is the service. The ladies are so kind and they're always smiling (now with the masks it's hardwr to recognize it, but they have a sparkle in their eyes). The food was extremely average. But the view makes up for it. You really don’t have anywhere else to stop to eat on Marmolada so you’ve got no choice.
