How not to like this place, the people, their food?

Few dishes on the menu---as it should be in this type of restaurant---rooted in the territory and tradition but significantly lightened and with a modern presentation. The cuisine is simple and tasty. I loved the sweet spices in the casonzei, the fresh chanterelles in generous quantity in the perfectly cooked tagliatelle, and their charcuterie "tagliere" is simply delicious. We concluded with the always pleasing schmarm, a classic of the valleys all around.

With two vegetable side dishes, two glasses of wine each, coffees, and a quantity of food such that we could not even finish it, all of high quality, we paid about 110 euros, which while not on the cheap side, I find very reasonable. The location is simply beautiful (I recommend walking up from the valley, or at least taking a walk around, if you can), service is sweet, the interior is warm...

In riferimento alla recensione di Donatella De Martin, vorrei fare alcune precisazioni essendo io presente al fatto, a differenza di Donatella. Il cane in questione se ne stava tranquillo nella sua cuccia, quando ha visto il bambino gironzolare nel bar gli si è avvicinato, come è naturale per un cane. Il bambino non lo stava accarezzando, ma lo tirava per le zampe posteriori. La proprietaria è subito accorsa, esclamando: Il cane non è un giocattolo! e riportandolo nella sua cuccia. Il tono era sicuramente alterato, ma non c’è da stupirsi, forse il genitore presente non si è reso conto che il cane avrebbe potuto reagire mordendo il piccolo. E allora, cosa sarebbe successo? Io frequento il locale da quando è stato aperto nell’estate 2020 e devo dire che la cucina è ottima: materie prime, non solo di prima scelta, ma possibilmente locali. Qualsiasi piatto dello chef Dario, quando arriva in tavola, ti apre tutti i sensi: prima la vista con gli abbinamenti di colori e di forme; l’olfatto coi mille profumi di spezie, erbe e fiori; il gusto con i sapori a volte forti e contrastanti, a volte delicati e leggeri; il tatto con le diverse consistenze degli ingredienti; l’udito, sì anche l’udito, quando Silvia versa nei calici uno dei suoi innumerevoli e ottimi vini per poi finire con i liquori preziosissimi. È sempre una festa! E l’accoglienza non è da meno. Io amo le persone schiette, che ti dicono in faccia quello che pensano. Detesto i sorrisi melensi di chi, poi, ti colpisce alle spalle. Questa è la prima e sarà anche l’ultima volta che scrivo su un social, perché preferisco parlare direttamente alle persone che mi stanno davanti, come ho sempre fatto con Silvia e Dario e come loro hanno sempre...

What a sweet restaurant with food that is both considered but unpretentious, and of very high quality. Our server Lorenzo was fantastic. He helped us a navigate the menu, explained the ingredients and prep of the dishes and how they relate to the local environment. My game ragu tagliatelle was excellent as was my wife’s ravioli with nettles in sage butter. We sampled local cheeses, drank a beautiful bottle of wine from a producer 60km away. Ended the meal with panna cotte and homemade amaro. All for less than €90. We will be back and...
