This is the most incredible restaurant I've ever been to, and I've dined out a lot. For extremely reasonable prices, you have the perfect dining experience: delicious, melt-in-your-mouth food, warm welcoming staff, the beautiful atmosphere of Roccamorice's mountains, and the absolute genius of Chef Martina's daily creations. Her homemade bread is unparallelled. The arrosticini is a succulent blanket of happy flavours. Her stewed/pieced lamb is mouth-watering and divine. Her venison - a difficult dish to make, which must be slow-cooked (according to my Italian family members from Roccamorice) is a purely soft joy to eat. I ordered it twice! The gnocci is just heaven - comfort food in every bite.

Let it be known - I am not normally a pasta person, and I ordered a second plate of the gitarre because it was so good. This pasta is perfectly al-dente, always, with the most incredible tomato sauce. The rabbit is something special (but they don't always have it). Their salads and vegetable side dishes are always fresh, delicious, and hit the spot. Don't forget to order to grilled lamb with potatoes! It made me see God.

We ate here multiple times during our stay in Roccamorice. We kept coming back because it is hands-down our favourite among the whole group, and we're very picky eaters to be sure! We were invited to a wine and cheese tasting event, a Cauchun-making event where everybody learned a lot, and their cheese-making event! This was a multi-generational event - with the children helping and Martina's father, Rocco, teaching all of us the traditional way of making 4 different cheeses. It is obvious that the traditions of hand-crafting simply incredible food runs deep throughout their whole family's veins.

Also noteworthy: Chef Martina experiments with various recipes for people with food sensitivities to enjoy. I cannot eat dairy (and a variety of other things), but she routinely makes delicious dairy-free cookies using carob, and buckwheat, and more! Just tell them your allergies and if they can provide you with something, it is literally impossible for her food to taste bad. I guarantee it. My dining companions also ordered milk-based deserts and said they were astonishing.

Chef Martina's groove is finding a traditional, healthy, mouth-watering way to cater to her customer's needs, and she bangs it out of the park, every. Single. Time.

TLDR: beautiful food, incredible prices, kind and lovely staff. 10/10 for each dining experience we had here. I can't wait...

Sta gente così come?

I have been staying in Majella National Park for three weeks and I've eaten at this restaurant five times in the last 10 days! This meal at Ai Quattro Sentieri was so beautiful I cried. Fresh sheep's milk ricotta drizzled with olive oil and pepper, fig pizza and prosciutto! This is the same restaurant where I had the rabbit cacciatore last week. Mama Mia!! It was incredible!! Every time I've been, there's some new delight! One evening it was figs marinated in wine, another night it was pickled fresh vegetables. You HAVE to try the fig pizza (seasonal) Family run, efficient and friendly service, beautiful area. Children welcomed!! Locals love this place. Music and entertainment some nights. I highly recommend...

A lovely, family run place on the outskirts of Roccamorice in the direction of the sanctuaries/mountain. We came for Easter lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the home made specialities. If you want to try local Abruzzese food this is a good place. I am in love with caccia e ovo, the antipasti platter of cheese & egg balls in tomato sauce and they didn’t disappoint. The pasta, as well as main dishes of lamb and arrosticini (a local meat skewer speciality), were all delicious as well. Reservations recommended. And there is a dedicated parking space in front of the restaurant.
