Old Wild West - Roma Dragona — Restaurant in Rome

Went there with my family and 2 kids. No wait whatsoever to get our table. We ordered while having a small bucket of free-of-charge peanuts. Kind waiters yet the guy at the entrance barely welcomed us when entering the place. I spotted wine in the menu and since I’ve known this place for years now, I decided to give it a try. That was the smallest wine serving I had in my whole life. What’s worse, I ordered the most expensive one on the menu. I kindly explained my disappointment to the waiter,who in turn asked the guy at the bar. Turned out that’s the place policy to serve such small wine servings. You might be good at serving good quality meat and beer, yet when it comes to novelties on your menu, you might want to be sure to serve good portions at the right price. Especially in Italy where wine is largely appreciated. The waiter then told us the kids had a free-of-charge ice cream with their menu, yet we turned down the kind offer as the overpriced small wine glass had honestly put us down. The food was surprisingly good. Have a small bucket of peanuts while you wait for your food. The service was incredibly fast, we barely ate a handful of peanuts before food arrived.
