If I could give this more stars, I would! We have been traveling Europe for over a month now and are always searching for a true experience that represents the food in the area we are traveling. We speak little Italian, but the waiter spoke great English, which was helpful. He knew we were tourists, so he told us the "Roman" options. It was better than we expected. Started with a huge box of sausage that we could eat as much as we liked, followed by fresh mozzarella and fried vegetables. Then, two delicious pasta dishes were followed by a local desert. What made this even more special is, at the end, the waiter brought over 4 different alcohols, lemmon cello, two types of grappa, and nerone. He just left the bottles. We could have as much as we wanted, though a shot of each was plenty. It was truly an amazing experience, likely one we will remember for years to come. And with the exchange rate for us Americans, the total...
Read moreGreat traditional food, very authentic and extremely fresh produce. The service was also great, friendly and genuinely ‘Roman’ as you would expect in the area. We dined there on a Friday night when all the children in the village seemed to have been let loose, hence it was quite noisy and chaotic.
