Ristorante Adriatica — Restaurant in Rosolina

If you're looking for a modernly-decorated, trendy restaurant, forget about this place! It's like entering the set of a 60s film. But who cares? The extremely-friendly staff are interested in serving delicious local food at reasonable prices.

I popped in with friends for a glass of wine before continuing on to a day out in Chioggia.

The restaurant offers both meat-based & fish-based menus, but the locals rave about the fresh fish & seafood (the restaurant is after all practically on the sea and near the towns of Chioggia & Sottomarina).

Prices - for example a mixed grill of fish & seafood is €15. A litre of excellent local wine sets...

Wir haben 4x versucht dort zu essen. 1x geschlossen, 1x ausgebucht, 1x Ruhetag, dann hat es geklappt. Der Kellner war, wenn man es großzügig formulieren möchte, lustlos. Dafür erklärte er uns erstmal, dass zwei Drittel der Karte nicht bestellt werden kann und er uns die Karte eigentlich auch nicht geben möchte. Das Essen klein an Portion, dafür nur minimal günstiger als in anderen Restaurants. Geschmacklich... nun ja... es schmeckte keinem von uns, aber das kann ja auch an uns liegen. Vorspeise waren Muscheln, sehr kleine Portion, geschmacklich nicht unseres. Spaghetti al Salmone mit geräuchertem Lachs scheint dort regional normal zu sein, ist halt nicht meins. Spaghetti Vongole war, verglichen mit anderen Restaurants der Region, eher geizig mit Muscheln bestückt. Dazu gab es Lasagne mit Meeresfrüchten. Hörte sich interessant an, sah aus, wie irgendwozusammengekratzt und geschmacklich war es sehr nah an...

La qualità dei piatti non si discute ma il conto viene fatto diversamente in base alla supposta provenienza del cliente. Ho frequentato il ristorante per anni a pranzo con la famiglia e ci è sempre stato fatto un conto a prezzo fisso (14 euro per menù di pesce compresi vino, acqua e caffè). Quando ci sono stato con la mia compagna il prezzo saliva a 15 euro (sarà che non ci sentivano parlare dialetto...). Tornato con degli amici e scambiati evidentemente per turisti da spennare, il conto è lievitato a 20,50 euro. Alla richiesta di spiegazioni la signora al banco ha negato l'esistenza del menù a prezzo fisso e nascondendosi in cucina, ha mandato il titolare che ci ha comunque fatto un prezzo diverso (16 euro). La mia famiglia è tornata pochi giorni dopo e il prezzo è tornato a 14 euro....
