" On the route to and from Porto Torros: When we first drove by this place, it didn't appear to be beyond the expectation, maybe an ordinary, but the view to the beaches touching the distant ocean is imagery. When you walk into LA Risacca, the mood and setting are captivating! Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was well set in its place. The investors and owners of this business know what to, how to, when to deliver beyond the expectation. The head server spoke English, and the other servers ensured you were comfortable while you enjoyed the meal with a spectacular view. It is THE #1 out of the 5 best places that delivered.

Siamo stati io e la mia compagna a cena al ristorante La Risacca a Marina di Sorso un martedì d'agosto dopo una ricerca online e il consiglio della proprietaria del nostro alloggio. Abbiamo prenotato in anticipo e al nostro arrivo il proprietario del locale ci ha accompagnato al nostro tavolo. Nell'attesa di prendere la comanda (i tavoli erano pieni) lo staff ci ha portato dell'acqua e un cestino con della crescia appena sfornata. Arrivato il nostro turno abbiamo optato per due antipasti misti de la Risacca con freddi e caldi (i freddi gamberi alla catalana, burrata con acciuga del Cantabrico, pesce spada marinato con zucchine e melanzane, orata cotta al vapore accompagnata da verdurine miste mentre i caldi parmigiana di san pietro, cozze gratinate e polpette di calamari con salsa di pomodoro). Abbiamo poi proseguito con due primi, la calamarata con gambero rosso e bottarga. A conclusione una bella porzione di seadas (dolce tipico sardo, tortelli fritti ripieni di pecorino e guarniti con miele di castagno) ed un caffè. Che dire a parte un po' di attesa iniziale la cena è stata deliziosa. Gli antipasti buoni e sapori di mare (il pesce si sentiva che era di qualità) ma se devo elogiare una delle portate sicuramente i gamberi alla catalana e aggiungerei la parmigiana davvero goduriosa. L'accoppiata burrata e acciuga per chi ama entrambe singolarmente non ne rimarrà deluso. Anche il primo ci è piaciuto molto, succulento come si suol dire e la calamarata non rimaneva slegata dal contesto fatto di gamberi freschi, forse un po' troppo olio (ma son gusti). Il locale dispone di diverse sale interne e di un'area esterna oltre ad un parcheggio libero lungo la strada principale. Ben organizzato ed arredato, mise en place rigorosamente in stoffa (niente carta cheap) e per chi prenota durante il giorno si può avere la vista mare garantita da dei grandi finestroni. Il ristorante dispone anche di forno a legna per chi desidera una pizza. Staff professionale e dinamico, ci hanno presentato ogni pietanza con cura e cambiato le posate all'occorrenza. We wanted to eat but the kitchen was closing in 5 mins (only told once we'd been seated). There was no menu, you download the menu by scanning QR code...the waiter was rushing us as there was only 5 mins, but we needed to read the menu so we gave up and said we'd only have some drinks, with that we were ushered back to the bar area as that's where you sat if only having drinks! As there were so few people in the restaurant and it was shortly becoming a non restaurant (kitchen closing remember) we thought they could have left us seated where we were!
