Baita Saslonch belongs to this category of places for which you typically hesitate to leave a good review because you would prefer keeping it a secret little paradise. But hey, in these dark times, everyone deserves a treat! Make sure you don’t miss Saslonch’s Heidi plate and their heartwarming Bombardino. Buon appetito!

Do you like lunch? Then this is the place for you. In all seriousness, this is our favourite lunch (lonch?) place in the entire Dolomiti Superski area. Don’t miss the amazing Heidi plate: fresh gnocchi with walnuts and Gorgonzola sauce. To die for. Well worth a detour from the sellaronda.

The Saslonch is a cool restaurant with astonishing views and great food. Waiters are dynamic and kind. The terrace has enough tables to serve everybody’s needs. A bombardino and apple schtrudel were amazing at mid morning. Very recommendable place in Val Gardena slopes.

Onionsoup....that was my choice for lunch. Never had it so bad: it was just water with some pieces of onion floating in it. No taste what so ever, the even forgot the salt. piece of bread with some cheese melted over it, as a decent onion soup deserves? no. a container of grated parmesan was flung on the table, a piece of stale bread served along the 'soup' unbelievable. service...
