Our stay at Bad Siess was fantastic. From the moment we arrived (after a very windy, white knuckle drive up the mountain), we were charmed by every aspect of the gasthaus. It is in a stunning location, about halfway up the mountain. All around are breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks, along with grassy meadows dotted with chalets. The accommodations were very comfortable, clean and the shower was fantastic. We opted for the dinner option, which we would recommend strongly. The food was delicious and varied local cuisine. Don't expect Michelin Star dishes. The owner and his son are very kind and love to tell about their history and life in the farm. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Pillows are quite hard, which Iiked but my wife didn't. The rooms are a bit noisy. Breakfast is simple but tasty with home made speck. We will...
