Not worth the money. The portions are small, the food is mediocre and extremely salty. Ordered french fries with sausage for my son, and the fries were as salty as the Mediterranean sea. Asked them to bring another portion of fries with no salt - they brought a new one that was still salty but at least edible. Had goulash myself and drank like a gallon of water afterwards as there was more salt in the dish than meat or potatoes. Also had a glass of mint syrup water (decided to get a big glass for 6!!! Euros) - it was just water with one mint leaf and the faintest hint of mint flavour. We came here with two kids and six adults while it was snowing. They recommended us to have lunch in their big barrel. The nice waiter said it was warm in there. It was and it was such a great idea! We had the barrel all to ourselves (which was great with two little boys) and from the window we could see the slopes and the snow. The food was amazing and the waiters kept checking up on us every few minutes to see if we were okay, if we had enough food and drinks. Beautiful spot with an unforgettable view of Alpe di Siusi! We stopped at Malga Schgaguler Schwaige for lunch and were so glad we did.

We ordered the mushroom risotto and pasta Bolognese. Both dishes were delicious and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality and care in the cooking.

What truly sets this place apart is the stunning panoramic view. Sitting outside, enjoying great food with the Dolomites in front of you, is an experience in itself.
