We stayed near St. Michele for three nights, and came here for two of those. Our first night we arrived starving and exhausted, and our takeaway meals were hot and delicious. Our second meal we ate in-house, and it was equally as delicious and well-prepared. The family that owns the restaurant is friendly and kind; we got several excellent sightseeing suggestions from the hostess on the first night while we were waiting for our food. La prima volta abbiamo assaggiato affettati e formaggi locali e una zuppa d’orzo: tutto abbondante, genuino e preparato con ingredienti di alta qualità, il sapore autentico del territorio in ogni morso.
La seconda volta ci siamo lasciati tentare da polenta, funghi e salsiccia, e di nuovo dalla zuppa d’orzo, e ancora una volta è stata un’esperienza straordinaria: porzioni generose, sapori ricchi, caldi e confortanti — tutto davvero buonissimo.
