I’ve been eating in some of the finest restaurants in the world but never ever had such a tasteful experience. If it was up to me, I would take away all the stars of Restaurants I have eaten at and would hand them over to Cucina di Casa. When we arrived I was first put off a bit by the bright lights and plastic furniture. But as soon as I tried the first dish I fell in love. Freshly harvested Zuchini enriched with Mint and Apple Vinegar, accompanied by a fresh white wine, followed by lots of delicious Appetizers including amazing cheese, salami, and grilled vegetables. As primi we had a very simple Pasta wirth garlic, olive oil and some tomatoes. The table very quickly filled with one delicacy after the other, for each course we had another perfectly fitting wine. For dessert we had a homemade cake which tasted better than my grandmothers (and she is an amazing baker). The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, we immediately felt like we were adopted by the charming family. Overall, a unforgettable experience that I will still cherish on my deathbed. Prices are more than fair for the quality...
Read moreIt was a great dining experience! We wanted a delicious, homemade meal and we stumbled upon this home restaurant concept. The family is super nice and accommodating, and the food was also amazing! We had really fresh antipasto since some of the ingredients (i.e. tomatoes) were fresh from their garden. I had the best Lasagne in Parmigiana (eggplant lasagna) I tasted in my life 🤤 and they offered a traditional Napoli dessert, which was moist and with the balanced level of sweetness ❤️ On top of that, they even let us taste a drink they made from apple (I’m not a big fan of alcohol but when I tasted that drink, it was a perfect digestif for me). Thank you very much for the lovely dinner! P.S. make sure to bring cash so you can taste all of...
Read moreThis place is absolutely amazing. It’s the kind of place I’ve been looking for on my one month trip through Italy and I finally found it. It’s a small scale family owned restaurant, where most of the things they serve come from their own garden. The food was absolutely delicious, genuinely home made fresh food like your grandma would cook it if she was the best Italian chef. The owner suggested some wines and they were also really good. We also got some very nice home made liquors. The whole experience didn’t feel like being in a restaurant, but rather being on visit at my favourite uncle’s house. Thank you so much for your hospitality and your delicious food and drinks. I would come back to this region only for...
