We arrived to the restaurant without reservation, and close to closing time, and since we don't speak Italian, the chef (and the owner, as we later realized) helped us pick our dishes. we received in addition to what we ordered another dishes that the chef wanted us to try. he was very nice and pleasant. after we finished our lunch, he came to check on us and we ended up having a long and interesting conversation with him (well beyond closing time), which was the highlight of the day. recommended for the food, the good prices, and more so...

Auf der Rückreise von der ligurischen Küste im August 2021 zum Mittagessen per Zufall dieses kleine unprätentiöse Lokal aufgesucht. Obwohl die Küche fünf Minuten später geschlossen hätte, wurden wir freundlich empfangen und zu einem Tisch geleitet. Das Lokal ist einfach und zweckmässig eingerichtet und die Tische sind mit Papiertischdecken belegt. Das Essen allerdings kann es mit weit vornehmeren Lokalen aufnehmen. Wir haben uns für die Nussravioli entschieden, die auf dem Tagesmenü standen. Sie waren voll im Geschmack, auch sonst perfekt zubereitet und wurden in anständigen Portionen gereicht. Noch selten habe ich solch gute Ravioli gegessen, obwohl man in Italien eigentlich immer gut isst. Gekrönt wurde das Ganze von einer bescheidenen Rechnung. Ottimo locale dove mangi bene e in abbondanza , avete presente quei buoni piatti da chef Rubio? Ok , io mi sono goduto un ottima panissa e per chi non conoscesse spiego: risotto ai fagioli, barbera e con salame d'la duja (salame che viene lasciato a maturare in un boccale di terracotta pieno di lardo) ed un ottima lonza di maiale con patate, come dessert pan di spagna con crema al mascarpone insaporito all'arancia. Locale che non ha grandi pretese ma che serve un ottima cucina tipica, buon servizio, gentili e disponibili e soprattutto ad un prezzo eccellente.
