The Butcher Risto Macelleria — Restaurant in San Giuliano Terme

I recently had an absolutely fantastic dining experience, starting right from the booking process. I was able to make a reservation for a party of three for lunch through WhatsApp, and it was incredibly smooth and efficient, which was a great first sign.

We went with the intention of enjoying some excellent steaks and a good bottle of wine, and the restaurant did not disappoint. The service was kind and attentive throughout our meal, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive.

The steaks were excellent, cooked perfectly to our liking, and paired wonderfully with some great sides. To finish, the tiramisu was a standout—rich, flavorful, and a perfect ending to a wonderful meal.

Posso affermare con assoluta sicurezza che la macelleria è gestita con amore da persone che conoscono ed amano il loro mestiere, e propone carni e tagli assolutamente meravigliosi, a cominciare da sublimi affettati per finire con le diverse qualità e frollature di manzo.

Il prodotto vale senza dubbio la spesa.

Lato ristorante, siamo purtroppo rimasti sconvolti in negativo.

Abbiamo prenotato con anticipo per un venerdì sera, e dopo un inizio gradevole ci siamo ritrovati letteralmente fagocitati da un tavolo di cafoni come raramente se ne trovano.

Urla, schiamazzi, volgarità e berci si sono susseguiti senza sosta finché non siamo dovuti letteralmente scappare, rintontiti dalle cretinaggini di questo tavolo di bambinoni maleducati.

Persino le due povere cameriere, sole a gestire questa flotta di buzzurri, erano terrorizzate. Non le ho invidiate neanche un secondo.

Si potrebbe dire che non è colpa dei gestori, ed in effetti è così. Ma c'è un "ma" e anzi, più di uno.

Ma è possibile che i suddetti gestori non siano intervenuti per richiamare alla calma i maleducati, nel rispetto di tutti gli altri presenti ? Paura di perdere soldi ?

Ma è possibile che la sala debba offrire tutti questi posti a sedere in nome del profitto, quando è chiaro che è troppo piccola per prevedere queste tavolate ?

Ma è possibile che due povere cameriere si debbano ritrovare a gestire, d'un colpo solo, tutte queste teste (di *azzo) facendo inevitabilmente confusione e saltando da una spola all'altra dei tavoli nel tentativo di essere compiacenti ?

Ma è possibile che -sempre a causa di questa circostanza- tre dei nostri cinque piatti siano arrivati con mezz'ora di ritardo rispetto agli altri due, obbligandoci a mangiare in momenti diversi ?

Prevedete dei rinforzi al servizio al tavolo, togliete un bel po' di coperti e gestite (veramente) l'unica sala del vostro ristorante, in caso di bisogno.

Tutti i commensali hanno il diritto di passare un buon momento, senza diventare sordi e potendo conversare liberamente : senza urlare !

Niente da dire invece sul cibo : semplicemente ottimo.

Ma visto il contesto, è passato quasi in secondo piano.

Fate tranquillamente riferimento alla meravigliosa macelleria, e sperate di avere fortuna...

My daughter got married in the most awesome villa 400 meters from here. Although we had a wedding reception/meal, we decide to host family who came from around the world here at the restaurant who were here early! Absolutely fantastic services with the first meal being 11 courses that was under 42 Euros a head - that included all the wine and bottle fuzzy and natural water! We decided to come again the last night (out of 4), and had a 8 course with remaining folks. 30 euros a head with the same drinks!
